Works as it should but this is a heavier, more substantial and durable plastic fabrication than typical. Also has a built-in shelf (on the top side, separate from the soaking unit) for holding a retainer or two partials or a bottom full denture. Recommended.
The Afanso Denture Bath Case is a good option for soaking and storing one’s artificial choppers, whether they be full or partial dentures, retainers or a mouth guard.
The lower compartment is roomy enough that it easily held a full pair of dentures and the removable basket allows placement without a mess. The snap latch and inner gasket kept it leak-proof when full of solution, even when I turned it upside down and shook it around.
The upper compartment is smaller and while it can also fit a full pair of dentures, it does not lock closed and only for dry storage and not meant to be filled with cleaning solution.
Overall, it is a fairly good product and at a reasonable price point.
I ordered this denture bath case for my cousin who stays with us every weekend so he doesn’t have to pack his from home. It’s small therefore it doesn’t take up much space on the bathroom vanity. It’s a sturdy little container and well made. The basket settles at the bottom and allows the contents to soak. When they are clean and ready to be taken out you just pull the little handle and the whole basket comes out of the cleaning solution. Everything is easy to clean and dries nicely fort he next use. The low price point allows for anyone to order and use this as it’s a necessity for so many.
I use these for my retainer. I have an ultrasonic cleaner that I use in conjunction with cleaner tablets to clean my retainers at night. This is mainly used for when I travel and camping as it is compact and doesn’t require electricity. It’s handy because it has a reservoir to to hold the water and cleaner solution, and then another tray to for drying. It’s a nice all in one unit that helps to keep it compact for travel. I don’t latch the bottom container as it can be difficult to open. I find that i don’t really need to keep it latched since it’s mainly staying in one place while the retainers are being cleaned.
Pros… works well with my aligner and no issues using it and it’s priced well. Cons… not a major issue but super difficult to open the bottom part. It does not open easily. The top part no problem but the bottom after the latch is remove is ridiculously difficult. Like the compact size and it is discreet if using for dentures as it is completely made of plastic. Would buy another one just to have it as a backup.
This oral device bath container is quite convenient when traveling. I put my nightguard in the container while in transit. I always pick up a bottle of mouthwash at my destination as I use that to soak my guard and occasionally my toothbrush when traveling. At home I use an ultrasonic cleaner, but it’s a pain to bring and worry about European adapters and voltage levels. This container has a good clasp that keeps it closed and secure. It’s claimed to be waterproof, but I haven’t tested that feature. Included is a cage to place the item being cleaned. The cage has a protruding part that you can grasp to take the item out of the liquid, so you don’t touch it and contaminate it. I like this a lot. The price point seems reasonable to me. Overall, it’s a good quality and useful container to soak and clean various small items and if that is a need this item is worth considering.
I love this Drying Mat Denture Bath Case! It’s 100% leak-proof and waterproof, so I no longer worry about spills, especially when traveling. The case is made of sturdy, food-grade plastic that’s durable and impact-resistant, and it’s BPA-free, making it safe for use. The built-in shelf is a thoughtful addition for holding retainers or dentures. It’s a great gift for anyone with dental appliances. Highly recommended for its functionality and high-quality construction!
This is a nice case for cleaning aligners and retainers. My old method of cleaning was give a rinse and place with half a cleaner tab in water in the case they came in, which isn’t much larger than the aligners themselves. This cleaning box gives a lot more room for a good “bath” for aligners.
The internal basket makes it simple to lower and raise out the aligners from the bath. Put a half or full cleaner tab in warm water in the bath, let it sit a few minutes to dissolve, then add aligners or whatever it is you are cleaning. The box closes securely.
Not pictured in the listing (but shown in my pictures) is the “drying rack”, which is a magnetically-closed panel at the top of the unit that you can use to let your aligners dry for a bit until you are ready to put them back in action. Overall a nice cleaning unit.
