The brand truly justifies it name. Came well packed and on time.
Literally obsessed with this cleansing balm! It effortlessly removes makeup and impurities, leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. The lipid-rich oil infusion is divine, and the gentle, non-stripping formula makes it perfect for sensitive skin.. Highly recommended!!

This cleansing balm is really thick and creamy. It has a very pleasant scent. I’ve been using as part of my night time skin routine and since adding this I think my skin looks and feels better than ever!

I haven’t used an Estée Lauder product in a while but my mother was a huge fan of them when I was growing up. This cleansing balm has turned me on to the brand again, as it’s absolutely fantastic.
I use mainly cleaning oils to double cleanse whenever I wear makeup and this was my first time trying a balm. It goes on very silkily and feels gentle on the skin as you massage it in. After adding water, it turns creamy and washes off well. I found that it removed all my makeup (including eye makeup) effectively without causing any adverse reactions or stinging my eyes. It also didn’t dry out my skin, and left it soft.
The only thing I wish it came with was a tiny scoop. You might want to have one on hand if you’re using this balm to remove makeup, as you’ll have to dip your fingers in it multiple times – and the makeup on your fingers will transfer into the balm in the jar.
The lavender scent was mild but very pleasant.

Estée Lauder is a well-know brand, and I’ve been using products from them for over a decade. So, there’s no need for me to speak on the quality of products they produce because the name speaks for itself. I use cleansing balms everyday as a part of my nighttime routine. This balm has a creamy texture, and it feels nice on the skin. I have sensitive skin and haven’t experienced any irritation, and it didn’t weigh my skin down. You only need a little bit of product at a time, and you massage it into the skin for at least 30 seconds. You then add a bit of water to help emulsify the product, which gives a final boost when helping to remove makeup. Now, I always follow up with a regular cleanser after using cleansing balms because I double cleanse every night and I never use the balms as a stand alone product. So far, this has worked great, and I’ve enjoyed trying it out!

Estee Lauder is a brand that I’m familiar with so there was no hesitation in ordering this Advanced Night Cleansing Balm.
Having recently discovered and loving oil cleansers I was excited about this cleansing balm. Mainly because 25% of the formulation is safflower seed oil, which is very nourishing. This product begins as a waxy looking solid and is meant to be applied to dry skin. As soon as I scooped out a tiny bit and started rubbing it onto my face, it liquefied. The consistency is very smooth and silky, though it barely makes any lather. There is no added fragrance, but there is Lavender in the formulation so it has a lavender scent. Normally I do not like scented cleansers, but since Lavender is one of my favorites I will just have to “deal with it”. The cleanser rinses off cleanly, it left my face feeling much softer and it did not feel as if it was stripping any natural oils.
In past with oil cleansers I have found that some don’t clean efficiently. That is not the case with this cleansing balm. After using it I went over my face with a cotton ball and toner and could find no residual makeup, so it does clean thoroughly.
In the listing the brand talks about all the bad ingredients that this cleanser does NOT contain. While I do appreciate that, I wish there was one more ingredient that they had left out and that is the PEG-5 glyceryl triisostearate. PEGs, AKA polyethylene glycol, are not environmentally friendly. Worse, during the manufacturing process they release toxic by-products like ethylene oxide, a known carcinogen, and 1,4-dioxane, a suspected carcinogen. I do try to avoid skin care products with PEGs in them.
Moreover, I do like this cleanser for its cleansing ability, scent and moisturizing capabilities. When I ordered it, it was selling for $41.65. Even though it’s mostly a good formulation by a major brand, I do think that it’s overpriced, but if it goes on sale at all it would be a great value.

I’ve been using oil based face wash & cleansing balms for a few years. This one is very good. In the container, it’s solidified, but melts immediately with the heat of my fingers. I massage it into dry skin and it takes makeup right off. I may have to put a little more around my eyes to get mascara off, but it washes clean. I use toner pads after washing my face, and this balm leaves no makeup behind. I prefer this to regular cleansers, as I’m aging and my skin is becoming more dry. Skin feels moisturized & balmy, not stripped like after using more traditional cleansers.

I wasn’t 100% sure on what the primary purpose was for this, but it really is a general facial cleanser with the added boost of removing makeup.
Its got a light lavender scent and a little bit goes a loooooooong way. It feels very silky smooth going on and doesn’t really lather. I wasn’t sure if it was actually doing anything for that reason- but it really did work well!
Highly recommended!
