I have tried so many lip oils, balms etc to get rid of that parched feeling. As I get older, it is an issue now. I take a 1 hr walk first thing and I put on lip oil to keep the sun from drying out my lips. Half way through I need to reapply. I also reapply after a light brunch and before bedtime. This Essence lip oil has changed all that! This lip oil is very thick, has a big die foot applicator, it doesn’t have a lingering fragrance or taste. It lasts for hours. I like to wear it at bedtime and I wake up with smooth lips and not feeling dry. I like it so much I took advantage of the discount when buying more than one. Will gift to two dtr’s. For this reasonable price and highest quality, you should not hesitate and try it if you live in an environment that dries out your lips.

I received this lip oil with about a third of the product missing. I ordered two colors. One an orangey shade the other a light purple. The light purple had product mussing. I loved the color, and the way it wore. It seemed to stay on very well. But the orange colored shade had a funky smell/taste. I’ve been using it regularly. The color is dark when I apply. Not even orange. This was way past the return period but I felt I needed to report these issues. I will be throwing them away.

Just like any other gloss you have to reapply periodically but it’s cute and my lips be popping. It’s worth the buy. I keep this one in my purse and I have a lot of different glosses

What I liked: the color is quite nice, and it’s unflavored, texture is a little thicker for an “oil” but not sticky. What I didn’t like: the bottle leaks, the product seeps up through the cap and I have to let it sit upright for some time before I use it because it will spill out. Also, it smells like a grandma. I actually don’t hate the smell, but it’s literally like a perfume.
