I have oilier skin, so having a good facial cleanser is important. I’m a guy ,so I used to just use whatever was around – bar hand soap, Dove bar (in the shower), whatever my wife had around (Clinique). My current reference point that I started to use (at the insistence of my daughter who was appalled I used bar soap on my face) is CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser – which has worked fine for me.
Ideally, a facial cleanser should clean your skin, yet not leave it too dry/stripped (where your face feels tight right after washing). This, according to my daughter, can result in your skin producing extra oils to compensate for stripped skin.
Novexpert Mousse Nettoyante Cleansing Foam has a pleasant orange scent – not like 100% natural smelling, but not chemical smelling either. With one pump, it seems to do its job of cleaning my face when it’s not too oily, with a second pump needed if my face it really oily. In either case, it doesn’t seem to strip my skin of all moisture and it feels gentle enough to use a couple of times daily.
It says it’s exfoliating, but it’s not abrasive at all, so the exfoliation must be based on ingredients (vs physical abrasiveness). I haven’t really seen any noticeable exfoliating effect to this point. Also unsure if the Vitamin C is really having an effect.
But from my experience so far, it is an effective facial cleanser that strikes a nice balance between being effective (cleaning your face) and gentleness (not stripping away too much moisture).

I really like this face cleanser! Others have mentioned the smell, and it is distinct but I don’t find it offensive nor very strong. I would much prefer it to overly perfumed and fake smelling products! You only need 1 pump of cleanser, so it seems like it will last awhile. I like that it cleanses your face, but still leaves it soft and moisturized. I did find if I didn’t rinse well enough that it left a bit of a sticky residue. I am not sure if it has lightened or brightened my skin, or how long that should take, but it is a really nice product and I will continue to use it.

This cleanser uses a pump to make a light foam. I just use a small amount. It cleans very thoroughly and leaves my skin soft and clean without being dry. It has a mild, neutral scent. It says it is an exfoliating, if so it is a very gentle one because the foam is not grainy at all. It may be the vitamin C that dissolves make-up and dirt, leaving a fresh feeling.
Update: after using this for a week, I find that I am loving the results. Leave it on your skin for 20 seconds before rinsing off and your skin will feel soft and smooth with no residue.

This is the first Novexpert I’ve ever tried. I’m on the fence about this one. I’m not too fond of the smell, it reminds me of peach but since I don’t like peach, it makes me kind of want to gag. After a while the scent dissipate into something like vaseline, it’s weird. It foams nicely and cleans well, so that’s a plus. Only one or two pumps gives you a good lather so this should last awhile. Be careful using this if you have any sores or insect bites as it will sting!
Make sure to moisturize right after because it will leave your skin feeling dry (buy fresh).
Will I continue using this? Maybe but I have to say I will switch between this and another one I use. Maybe eventually I’ll get used to the smell.

What can I say it’s my fourth product from this Brand and it’s a really good cleanser that helps me maintain my face clean from impurities and hydrated since it doesn’t feel dry on skin.

I’d never heard of this skincare line before, but the packaging looked sorta fancy so I figured I’d try it. I recently turned 40 and my skin is acting SO STRANGE. I’m breaking out like a teenager again, my skin is loosing its’ elasticity and volume, and it has a fullness I can’t seem to shake.
This is different than most of my cleansers because it recommends applying the cleansing foam to your face, allow it to sit for 20 seconds, then rinse. I actually do that with a lot of my facial cleansers!! This foams up immediately when you dispense it. When I apply it to my skin it looks a little milky/frothy and thick. After waiting 20 seconds; I I use my silicone face scrubber to work it into a lather and massage it into my skin. It bubbles up a little! After I rinse it off, I do a second cleanse (repeating the same steps).
My skin feels SO GOOD and clean! It’s a little drying, so I make sure to use a good toner, serum, and moisturizer. I notice a little brightness and can’t wait to see if it improves more as time goes in! So far, no new breakouts or irritations.
It has a slight scent that I can’t pinpoint; whatever it is, it must be a natural fragrance. It smells a little bit citrusy.
For $22, it’s not the most amazing cleanser I’ve tried, but it works pretty well.

This is a French brand based on the Novexpert website and the fact the bottle is half English and half French. I’ve never heard of it before but it seems they carry an extensive line of beauty products.
The cleanser is a 5 oz liquid bottle that pumps out as a foam. Two pumps is a good amount for the face. I suggest either wetting your face or hands before applying. I tried using the foam directly a fry face and it did not spread well. Having a bit of water helps it cover the face smoothly. It has a citrus smell which I like as it is like a little aromatherapy to start the morning. It rinses off clean and leaves no residues. It does feel a little drying afterwards so be sure to apply moisturizer soon after.
