I purchased these Natural Kitchen Sponges because I’ve been trying to be more environmentally conscious and these seemed like a good alternative to the Scotch Brite sponges I normally use. They work great, but the coconut fibers aren’t skin-friendly. I’ve gotten a splinter or two from the fibers so now I’m extra careful when using them. Other than that, they work great and are a good biodegradable alternative.

I love these. They stay together better than regular sponges and I feel better using them knowing they are biodegradable. They have the soft side to wipe up ease spills and they harder scrubbing side for tougher stains. I use them to clean both in kitchen and bathroom.

I’d been using plastic scrubber/sponges for years but came to feel they were somewhat toxic to me as they disintegrated. These are all natural, never smell bad, and with the two-sided construction do a better job in every way. So far, they’re a real winner and highly recommended by this happy customer!

I’m glad I found these sponges! They work just as well as any other dish sponge but are compostable!
They start out stiff but break in fairly quickly. The coconut fiber scrubber is effective and doesn’t scratch surfaces. The bright white color of the sponge resists stains impressively well (unless you clean something with very extreme color), but it will slowly change color/lose its whiteness over time. No smells or need to microwave these to disinfect them.
I’d say these don’t last as long as traditional sponges if you’re someone who likes a fresh sponge/changes them more frequently. I changed my first sponge after a month (though it could have gone a bit longer) because I prefer using one that isn’t too worn. I also tried these sponges for household cleaning and they worked great.
With the composting factor, I give these a five.

I’ve been using these for about a month now. Specifically, I’ve used 1 for a month for dishes, and just transferred it to shower cleaning duty. You can see wear, but it still works great. Honestly at least as good as Scotch-Brite, if not better. It scrubs really well, but is less abrasive, so it doesn’t wear or damage softer surfaces. The bluish color on the used one is from Comet. Before that it was still pretty white. This 12-pack is going to last me a long time.

I love the fact that the material is made from recycled and natural materials. I also don’t feel like the sponge breaks apart as much as some other basic sponges that I’ve bought in the past do. I love the neutral tones, very cute for a sponge. Definitely preferred over yellow/blue or other regular sponge colors.
