This Esimen Sunscreen Applicator for Kids is a really nicely made brush. I like how it has a solid base with indentations where your fingertips can get a good grip. It has a plastic cap shaped like a turtle shell, to keep it protected. I really like how the cap snaps onto the base to make a really solid handle while you’re using it. The brush itself is very dense, with many soft bristles positioned tightly together. It’s diamond-shaped, wide in the middle and tapering at each end. The applicator smooths out sunblock or other kinds of lotion well, providing good coverage. It will occasionally lose a bristle, but nothing too annoying. Definitely not just for kids; also works for foundation or sunless tanning.

I got this sunscreen applicator for my child who has texture issues. He really likes using it and I find it very effective. The bristles are super soft and easy to use and I like that there is a cover for it after we’re done so that dust and other things don’t get on it.

This brush is incredible. It is incredibly soft and super dense. It’s able to spread sunscreen without absorbing it and it spreads it equally. It’s also the perfect size. I would definitely recommend this for sunscreen application for children.

I’m reviewing Esimen Sunscreen Applicator for Kids, Black.
Where has this been all my life? What a great idea!! Sunscreen is a must when out and about on sunny days, but I’ve never cared for the residue left on my fingers after applying or reapplying it. And by the way, in my opinion, this isn’t just for children. I plan to keep it handy for my own personal use.
This brush is similar to self tanning application brushes, but smaller, and it has a cover that snaps securely back in place. The brush head is filled with thin soft synthetic bristles that are formed to be flat on top in a marquise shape (see photo). There were no loose hairs, and none came out during use.
It does a great job of spreading the sunscreen evenly across my skin without absorbing much into the brush. I found it to be easy to use.
It’s 2 1/4″ long by 1 5/8″ wide, and the length of the bristles extending out past the base of the brush is 1/2″. With the cap on it measures 2 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 1 5/8″ so it will easily tuck into a purse or backpack.
To use this brush, first squeeze out the appropriate amount of sunscreen onto your skin, then use the brush to spread it out.
I find $8.59 to be a reasonable price for this brush. I would definitely buy this again.
As a side note, this Esimen Sunscreen Applicator for Kids is made in China.

This is a not a toddler brush per se, but it is a regular foundation brush. That said, it can totally be used on the toddlers to apply sunscreen and get the job done. The bristles are so soft and not sparse at all, so you’ll make sure to hit all the spots. It is also excellent for blending foundation and liquid blush. It comes in its own case, which is excellent for diaper bag, or any makeup bag really – it totally protects the brush and keeps it clean. I love this brush and highly recommend it.

This applicator brush is definitely an interesting thought for applying sunscreen. It has nice thick bristles and I appreciate that it is a dark color so the sunscreen stands out. It’s also quite helpful for makeup should you choose to use it for that. It’s easy to wash. I would recommend it overall.
