I really like this scrub. It feels nice on the skin and the scent is light and feels like a spa. It does a very good job of exfoliating skin. I only use it about once a week- I think this scrub is a little too good at exfoliating to use more than that. I am considering moving this to the shower to use as a body scrub- I think I actually might enjoy using it as an all over body scrub.

First off, this facial scrub is nice because it has a creamy texture with the exfoliating stuff mixed in. I also like that the ingredient list is very short and full of natural things like beeswax, orange extract, etc. I used it on my face and legs for dry skin. My skin seemed smooth enough after using, also no irritation. Sadly though I wish it had more grit for exfoliating. It seems heavier on cream product when it would probably scrub better with more of the exfoliating grit. Additionally it has an orange smell, but personally it smells like an orange house cleaner to me rather than a pleasant health and beauty item. Its not a bad product, but for almost $16 at the time of this review, I feel the negatives outweigh the positives on this one and I will be looking for a different scrub.

Based off the description I thought it would be more of the true charcoal type scrubs. This is a very muted version of that. It’s like a putty that you have to use water to lather up. It does have a pleasant odor and it wasn’t a harsh scrub. I did a test patch and it did leave my skin quite soft. I think the images on the product page are very misleading. It’s quite expensive for the amount especially if you plan to use this for your body. I don’t think I’ll order this again.

Live by this stuff. Great face wash! And it can sub as an intimate scrub too for those who shave and wax!

I found this to be a bit too rough to use on my face, but it’s great on my elbows, knees, and generally everywhere else. It has a bit of moisturizing consistency and makes my skin feel clean and refreshed. It has a lot of natural ingredients in it, even using natural scents, which is citrus-orange-like. A little goes a long way and I am finding it really smoothing out the rough spots. I think it’s a decent value for the amount you get and how well it works.

When I try something new, such as activated charcoal as an exfoliant, I like to do some research first to make sure it is recommended or safe for my skin. I was really surprised to find how it IS recommended for acne prone skin.
With any new skin care routine, especially exfoliating, because I do not have acne prone skin nor oily skin, I tend to use just weekly. (like a clay to extract oils).
My only ding (deduction) from the rating was that the ad page does not disclose ALL ingredients. I would say 90% are listed, but I like to see a photo of the container listing in order the ingredients, or in the detail section of the ad, I like to see again the ingredients listed in order of quantity. I think perhaps only the fragrance ingredient was omitted from the ad page.
I expected the scrub to be rougher. But to me, it only had a light and gentle scrub. Rubbing it around was easy. Washing it off, took a bit more effort as the creamy base of the product mixed with the dark charcoal left a gray hue at first, then more rubbing off and I was left with very moisturized skin.
Some wording errors, or poor word choices in the ad.
Second slide/photo says it removes pores.
Pores are never removed, however, they can become less visible.
But, I don’t think the listed ingredients in this product actually shrink the pores, they more hydrate.
Read an article, and I think the verbiage should be: shrinks appearance of pores.
Second bullet point: says you can “level up your cleaning process”, again, not sure what level up means.

I have sensitive skin and I’ve been using for over a month almost everyday and no issues. It leaves my skin refreshed, smooth and hydrated. No dryness, would recommend! A little goes a long ways so definitely worth the money!
