This body scrub has a very grainy pink appearance, clearly from the salt, which is good. The ingredients are only: pink Himalayan salt, avocado, cherry extract, aloe vera oil, and BLE fragrance. It does smell very good and the exfoliation is quite effective. My biggest complaint is that whatever oily ingredients are in this leaked out of the bottle and through two of the packaging bags. It made such a mess! I had to put it right in my shower because it would’ve messed up any drawer I tried to store it in.

This Himalayan salt scrub effectively exfoliated my skin without stripping or drying it out. I really like the feel and consistency. Once you add water it blends well and really gets all of the old dead skin cells off. I also really like the pleasant fragrance. It is quite potent and long-lasting and makes my skin feel so fresh. Because of the fine texture it is not irritating and quite gentle on skin. After applying this to my legs I noticed much more sheen and softness. This is also great to use before waxing to open up the hair follicles

I really like that this salt scrub has very fine salt crystals. It is far more gentle on the skin than other salt scrubs I’ve used that have larger and more abrasive salt crystals. And unlike other scrubs, the salt is not sitting in a puddle of greasy oil; there is a good ratio of oils to salt. There is a slight scent which dissipates quickly, so keep that in mind if you either like scented oils (I do not) or are sensitive to scents. As is true for all salt scrubs, using this product in the shower makes the shower super slippery. Gotta clean the residue off the floor after each use or risk falling. Overall a recommended product.

I’m in love with this exfoliating salt scrub! It has a light clean scent that is not overpowering. The salt is a pretty pink color, very finely ground for gentle exfoliation, and feels luxurious on the skin. The salt appears dry in the container but when applied to wet skin the oils are distributed and it softens the skin well without leaving a greasy feel. The simple ingredients listed are Himalayan salt, Avocado oil, Cherry extract, Aloe Vera Oil, and Black Lavish Essentials fragrance.

The scrub seemed on the dry side when scooping it out of the jar. It worked fine on my skin, and wasn’t too abrasive. I didn’t really care for the scent, which seemed to me like a chemically floral scent. Fortunately for me, the scent was faint and really not noticeable once it was applied to the skin. At the time I ordered this, the country of origin indicated USA, however I could not confirm on the jar that it was made in the USA.

This is a nice salt scrub when you apply water to it. I was surprised when I opened the jar that the scrub looked so dry and then I scooped it out. I felt I had to be careful not to spill scrub out of the jar and it was tempting to use a lot. The salt mix is very soft and the exfoliation happens in a pretty subtle way. I would say one’s scrubbing strength probably will have an impact on how this works. The salt mix was nice and soft on my skin. Oops I forgot to use soap to rinse mine away because I usually do scrubs last during my shower, but I did not get any breakouts or reactions from the omission. My skin was soft after use.
One of the most important things to note for me is that the smell was quite subtle even though I think the jar listed fragrance/perfume. It reminded me of a light shea butter smell that was not too persistent or strong.

I was hoping for more. I gave it 2 stars only because I liked the oil finish when I got out the shower. There is really no smell, which some people might like. I prefer to have some kind of essential oil whoof of something.

This salt scrub is lovely. It has a nice gentle scent that is not overwhelming. The Himalayan salt used in this is so nice. The consistency is much finer than scrubs that I’ve used before and it looks less oily than some I’ve used. There is no standing liquid in the jar just Himalayan salt. The scrub works well and being that its finer it seems to be gentler so it can be used on areas where you might not use a scrub. I was able to use it everywhere, except my face. It does leave a moisturized, slightly oily texture after being rinsed off but once you dry off it absorbs into the skin nicely. This is a very nice product.
