I already had a vibrating toothbrush when I bought this. I also had a spinning brush in which a round part of the brush rotated back and forth a bit.
Sonicare is next level. Small brush head, very high speed vibration. It is basically buzzing in your mouth.
It even comes with a setting to ramp up slowly over 14 days to let the person get used to the intense speed.
Yes, it is intense, in a good way. I found the intensity surprising, and even a bit uncomfortable at first, but I’m confident I’ll get used to it.

I’ve been using Sonicare toothbrushes for years and this 20 dollar model is easily the best I’ve ever had. Why? Because it’s a toothbrush. It has one job. To clean my teeth. And as best I can tell it does that just as well as all the other models I’ve owned. What else does it do? Nothing. No useless modes, no wasteful accessories and, best of all, no added bulk. This thing is thinner, smaller, and so much more comfortable in my hand than any other sonic toothbrush I’ve ever owned.
My only issue with it, as others have pointed out, is that it would incessantly beep twice after a full charge. After speaking to Sonicare (useless) and wracking my brains for a reason, I finally figured it out. This model doesn’t come with a physical plug. Just a USB cable that you can either plug directly into a USB outlet or attach to an AC adapter and plug into a standard AC outlet. Like many people, I just grabbed a spare 1 amp USB power block that came with an old iPhone and thought I was fine. But apparently that’s not enough amperage because when I plugged it directly into a USB jack on my wall — presto — no more beeping. So for anyone else with this issue, try using a plug with more amperage (like the 2.1 amp that comes with an iPad) or just get a wall adapter with a couple of USB jacks in it like I did. Now the thing is perfect!

Really happy with this 1100 brush — nice and slim, it’s powerful enough to get my teeth clean, and even uses the same charger as my old brush. Highly recommended — great value.

I’ve owned several of these Sonicare toothbrushes. The thicker ones have much better battery life and longevity. But they are overpriced at 4x what this one costs.
The last one I bought was 2x the price of this one, and failed prematurely. This one only has one speed, but the speed is what I like anyway, relatively fast.
The charger works odd of USB, and you have to supply your own USB wall charger, but that’s no problem. We all have a lot of those laying around at this point.
I don’t like that it constantly beeps every few minutes once it’s fully charged. It’s annoying to have to take it off the charger to stop the beeping. Bit not that big of a deal considering the value of this model. And if it breaks prematurely, I’m only out twenty bucks.

I am so happy I went with this $20 toothbrush. I didn’t want all the high end stuff with all that useless features. I wanted something simple and to get the job done. I had an oral B but didn’t like it. I am SO happy I went with Phillips brand, the power is just right. It will tickle at first but then you’ll get used to it. It cleans like a beast! I swear I think my teeth even look whiter hehe. You will not regret this purchase. Best $20 spent.

Eu amo esta escova de dentes! Eu usei Sonicare por mais de uma década; esta é a minha terceira. Eu hesitei em comprar este design menor porque pensei que não seria tão potente, mas até agora ele supera o modelo mais antigo. Este modelo menor e mais leve é mais fácil de usar e muito manobrável, alcançando lugares que antes eram um pouco difíceis de atingir. Ele fica instável no carregador, então eu coloquei o carregador em uma caneca – sem mais instabilidade! Eu achei isso uma solução muito satisfatória para a única desvantagem que eu vi neste produto.
