Overall, it’s a cute product, but the timer is totally defective. The sand will stop running randomly in the middle of a session. It’s too bad, because the rest of the item is nice, but it’s worthless to us with a defective timer.

This works great for my big kid. My husband and I have the same brand of brush so I know quality is there. The only thing I will mention is that it does not have the 30 second timer for you to know when to move to a new section.

The toothbrush requires one AA battery. The brush actually feels like nice quality when you turn it on and feel the ultrasonic movement. It feels like a name brand adult toothbrush when vibrating. There are many things included to keep your kid interested in brushing their teeth. The sand timer is well over 30 seconds, so your kids will be brushing their teeth for a long period. I am not sure why the brittles are grey. The shark and timer cannot be removed. The cup is a good size for any kid.

Overall it is a nice toothbrush. The base will take up lots of room on your counter. The sand timer is a nice touch to force kids to brush longer. The colors are vibrant. The shark is soft plastic. Your kids will enjoy brushing there teeth with this toothbrush and the toothbrush feels like it has some quality.

Of all the fancy and not-so-fancy manual and automatic toothbrushes my 5-year-old has gone through, this has to be the best. He thinks sharks are interesting and it’s like having a little toy in the bathroom. The timer is a nice feature and so is the rinse cup. I think this was priced reasonably as well. Most of the other ones I see in stores were Marvel or Disney characters on the brushes and this one was a nice change.

I ordered this to replace a manual brush mainly because of the fact that it was an electric toothbrush. I do like the presentation of the item as a whole. It comes in a really well designed retail box and everything was packed inside of a clear plastic clamshell inside. Everything came in perfect condition and free from the smell that some of those plastic items have. The little seahorse toy is a little bit of a gimmick though in my opinion. It doesn’t come off the base at all, just sits there like a little plastic statue. The toothbrush itself runs on 1 AA battery and feels of decent enough quality. The thing I really didn’t like about the toothbrush though is the fact that it’s just a vibrating brush head. No circles or scrubbing or anything. I give 3 overall because it’s an ok brush set, but just that. It doesn’t really excel in anything or revolutionize a design. I would recommend this to people looking for a brush to get their kids into brushing.
