I got this to help my baby get comfortable with brushing her teeth on her own while also being safe, she doesn’t choke due to the guard. It also helps with teething as she can bite down on it and the silicone helps soothe her gums!

Bought this in an effort to keep my toddler from destroying her tooth brush – we brush her teeth for her but have been trying to let her brush on her own and make it a habit. My feral child has started to chew her tooth brushes to the point where the bristles look crazy or just plane bites the head off of tooth brush.
While it was a cute toothbrush and would be great for other kids, it did not hold up to my child and she actually bit through the silicone and the head fell off.
8/10 overall but 0/10 for withstanding my kid and her chewing antics

Our 15 mo old daughter is quite independent and wants to do things on her own. Every night, we brush our teeth before bed. After entertaining us and allowing us to help her, she grabs the tooth brush and finishes the job herself. The flower petal guard is wonderful for teaching her not to stick the toothbrush too far back into her throat, preventing chocking or scratches. The petal can be removed as she gets older and her motor skills become more fine-tuned. The silicon bristles are soft and she actually seems to enjoy the feel on her gums. Unlike bristles on a regular toothbrush, we’re not worried about them falling out or fraying. When she’s teething, she actually stops for a bit just to chew on the toothbrush. Because the whole thing is a soft silicon, we’re not worried about her hurting her gums or teeth. The suction cup at the bottom makes it easy to store the toothbrush at the sink and keep it clean. It’s very easy to wash, and we can easily toss it in the dishwasher or scald it if we feel it needs to be sanitized.

We loved this product! Our kids bit the bristles until her teeth were “clean” but it was more like a toy than a chore for her which made teaching her the basics easier than forcing us to brush her teeth. The bristles are sturdy and I love the flower petal “dribble” catcher.
