This is a nice dermaplane starter kit. I have only had dermaplaning done one time, and that was at a spa clinic, so this is my first time doing this at home. This is a good set for people like me that want to try it out without having to spend a lot of money on supplies
It comes with everything you need to get started with helpful step by step instructions to make the process simple. There is a cleanser, balm, serum, toner pads, mask, and dermaplaning blade included. If, like me, you have never tried doing this I would recommend looking up some tutorial videos for the most effective way to use the blade without damaging the skin
All the products feel nice and seem to work well. These definitely aren’t the highest quality products, but after one use my skin feels and looks great. I did get some redness from the process, but the toner and mask did a good job hydrating and cooling
The only issue I have is that it only includes enough of everything for a one time use. There is enough of the cleanser, balm, and serum for several uses, but only one packet of toner pads and mask, so those products will have to be supplied separately for more applications. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for enough supplies for at least a few uses, but this is a good set if you just want to try it out. The cleanser, balm, and serum can be used without the toner and mask

These products are okay. My face felt moisturized and clean but no benefit of all the steps for dermaplaining. The razor works well but there was no difference between using these products and my usual route of wash shave and moisturizer. Nothing necessarily wrong with the products just nothing to make the change for if change isn’t needed.

Dermaplaning is a technique where you basically scrape your skin and remove dead skin cells and other things to improve your complextion. This is a neat starter kit / introduction to dermaplaning and has a basic set of everything you need. It comes with cleanser, mask, a bunch of other stuff, along with the dermaplaining blade. It also comes with a detailed instruction. This is a nice introduction to dermaplaning as it has what you need but if you want to continue you’ll need to get more cleaner and balm and stuff since this kit doesn’t include a lot of the consumables. Using this, I didn’t notice any downsides (didn’t make anything worse) and perhaps some improvement but it’s hard to see. Definitely do your research on whether you want to try dermaplaining – it may or may not work for your given scar situation.

I’m embarrassed to admit that I never knew “dermaplaning” was even a thing – which means my peach fuzz was well over 50 before being removed the first time!! 🤯
Given that I’m a complete newbie you’ll have to accept that I basically have no idea what I’m talking about so all I can do is offer my impressions, observations, and minimal experience.
• While the kit contains everything you need it’s very much a STARTER kit; the tool itself will last awhile and there’s enough cleanser, balm, and serum for several uses (5-10, maybe, depending on how much product you use) but the toner pad and hydrating mask are both one-time use packets.
• None of the products had a noticeable or lingering scent, which is a big plus for me.
• The directions seem straightforward enough (although I confess I just skimmed them and went right to shaving my face 😲)
• I have very fair skin/white hairs so it really helps to have a bright light and a dark background, so I can change angles (the contrast makes it much easier to see what I’ve missed)
• I did it dry (oops) but it seemed to have worked just fine – I did notice a slight pulling sensation once or twice but no discomfort and I wasn’t worried about cutting myself
The biggest downside is that, from what I can tell, these products are only sold in this size/as a kit so you will need to find substitutes as you use up each product.
All things considered, though, this seems like a pretty good deal – very giftable and perfect for travel (although who needs to dermaplane while on the road??). Of course, I’m the newb so do your own research because YMMV.

This is a cute set of LITTLE containers of products and a small shaver. This “dermaplane” system is more like a small shaver and balms to prepare the skin for shaving, and to soothe the skin after shaving. It takes off all the hair – I’m not sure I want to do this to my face. If I press too hard, I could scratch my face and bring blood. I think it might be better to visit a professional if I want skim the skin cells off my face. I’m giving it 3 stars for the little cleanser, serum, and multi-balm.

I especially like the detailed instructions on the lid of the box with diagrams along with the facial renewal system and the back of the box explains in detail the 6 step process from cleansing and prepping this skin to after care of the skin. The instructions are thorough and easy to understand. The ingredients of each product is also listed in this section. I love that the products are not tested on animals. This is a very comprehensive beginners kit that focuses on care of the skin, not just removing the hair and dead skin cells.

This kit will maybe last you 2 uses. The razor was effective but I feel like it should’ve been a little sharper to get what’s needed out of the process. I was happy that none of the products irritated my skin or burned when applying after using the razor. Overall, I think the kit is nice but if it’s not made/intended for more than 1-2 uses, you might as well use your own face wash and moisturizer and purchase the dermaplane razor separately.
