I originally bought the clear version and loved it. I don’t have gum disease but I am 40 so I want to keep it that way, so this is more of a prophylactic for me. Anyway when I was on my last bottle of clear I went to reorder, and for whatever reason, the clear was double the price of the clear. Blue was $18 and clear was $36! Like that’s crazy. So I waited and waited and finally, just in time, the clear went back down in price and now is actually $2 less than blue 🤨 so I reordered the clear.
There are 2 reasons I don’t like the blue, and it’s not the flavor, it’s what others have said, it causes your whole mouth (teeth included) to have a blue hue. Your tongue looks like you ate a blue raspberry jolly rancher but your teeth only mildly. FYI I have 6 crowns in the front and the rest are my natural teeth, and it leaves the hue on all of my teeth so it’s not a matter of natural teeth or not. It’s a coating leftover which you would expect from mouthwash.. you just don’t expect it to leave a noticeable tint. The second reason is these weird strands/small clumps of blue that you see when you spit. After noticing it with the blue, I realized the clear causes these strands too, but it wasn’t really noticeable it until it was bright blue. I’m sure there is a reason this happens and i’m sure it’s normal, but it’s weird. I’ll ask my hygienist when I get a cleaning. It happened to my daughter too bc she actually asked me not to reorder the blue bc the blue strands would get caught in her braces. She’s the other reason I bought this.. she’s one of those kids that isn’t a huge fan of brushing, certainly not flossing (how is this MY child??!!🤣) so I make her use this to keep her gums healthy since she clearly doesn’t care as much as mom 🙄😭

I really enjoy using mouthwash but they always burn my month really bad and I stopped using them. This one does not do that and it makes my teeth feel super clean! I do have gingivitis so I hope to see a diffrence in my gum health soon!
