If you combine this with Xylimelts (night use) they both really help the issue. I was having troubles with my mouth being so dry. That swallowing pills sometimes would get stuck in my throat and even certain types of food that was dry would get stuck in my throat and it would take me quite a bit of liquid following it to get the pills or food to move. That seems to have mostly gone away since I’ve started using these two in conjunction with one another within a week or so time wise. I would highly recommend. They were recommend by the dentist, so gotta trust in that as she was right.

Have been using the Biotene products for quite a while. Started with the tooth paste several years ago to prevent canker sores (no sodium laurel sulphate to irritate the mouth). I recently started having some dental problems that my dentist thought were related to dry mouth. Started using the mouthwash at night and things improved.
It does contain Xylitol which I understand is very harmful to dogs. I realize people probably aren’t planning to give mouthwash to their dogs, but there is always the possibly of accidental exposure through a spill or something. Good to know there’s something in it that might be bad for your furry friend.

I was recommended this Biotene Oral rinse from my dental hygienist and I had no idea of how important t saliva is. This Oral rinse works. I was hesitant at first thinking that i would be drooling everywhere but that is not the case. It was more affordable to buy it on Amazon than at Walmart.

it helps. more then the tooth paste. not quite as much as the lozenges, but it does help. have to use 2 to 3 times daily.
