My dermatologist recommended this because I am starting a treatment that severely increases sun sensitivity. Chemical sunscreen usually gives me hives and he wanted something that I would actually wear. The formula is light, non greasy and works well, no reactions, and no issues with sun!
I actually lost the first bottle somehow after about a week and immediately repurchased despite the price. I’m that happy with it.

My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen to me about 7 years ago, and I’ve never gone back. It has a silky formula, no white cast, protects really well, and doesn’t break me out. It sits well under makeup too, just absorbs into the skin. I know it’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it. I burn if I just look at a cloud, so a good quality sunscreen is imperative for me. This stuff fits the bill. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I love this sunscreen. It doesn’t break me out whatsoever although it does indeed have a white cast, the white cast doesn’t look bad, it somehow makes my skin look even. For all with acne, I recommend!! I’ve tried so many sunscreens and I can say I’d be glad to stick with this one!

I absolutely love this sunscreen. I have fair skin so no issues with a white cast. It feels so hydrating and gives you a beautiful glow but it’s pricey 🙁 it does pill with some skincare products but I haven’t found a sunscreen I like that doesn’t.

This sunscreen was recommended to me by my dermatologist, and Amazon is one of their verified sellers so I tried it out for a month (and that’s about as long as it lasted me).
Pros:
– I did feel like it helped keep my acne-prone skin clear
– Good SPF level
– Nice feel on skin. Not greasy and it dried down well.
Cons:
– It did feel like, no matter how much I rubbed it in, if I used enough, it left a white cast, which then sometimes got flaky during the day. I’m not sure how to prevent this. I don’t have the lightest skin, but also not the darkest. I’m olive toned and usually a medium in foundations/concealers. I think if you have really light skin, this might not be a problem for you (?) but if you’re not very fair, it’ll be an issue. I won’t be repurchasing because the issue was pretty significant and it’s not worth the price for me because of it.

I hate sunscreen and rarely wear it because of the way it makes my skin feel. I love the EltaMD. Doesn’t leave that greasy or heavy feeling on my face or that gross overall. And it actually works to keep my face from getting sunburned. Only sunscreen I wear.

M husband has rosacea and extremely sensitive skin. Our dermatologist told us to try this sunscreen and we love it. We spend a lot of time outside so we need protection from the sun. The price is good for something when your husband has to constantly get his skin laze red for pre-cancer. It’s not greasy at all and we find it to be the BEST SUNSCREEN out you can buy. Is you need sun protection buy this stuff it’s the best out there and lasts a long time

I have to say at first I was skeptical that this would be worth the money, as it is a bit pricey. But let me tell you, this product is worth it! I have rosacea and my skin is prone to irritation from many products. But I need a good quality sunscreen to wear daily. This product does not irritate my sensitive skin, provides excellent protection from the sun. It does not leave a white cast on my skin, and dries clear. A little goes a long way too. If you have sensitive skin or rosacea, give this a try. It is a great product!

Ugh this sunscreen is seriously incredible……giving it a 5 stars because I can’t not – but really tempted to give it 4 only because the price is absolute insanity!!!!! Had to switch to Beauty of Joseon sunscreen (which I love, would highly recommend) because I just couldn’t afford EltaMD anymore :’) Leaves no white cast for me personally (i’m pretty pale) but I can’t vouch for what it will do on darker skin tones. The formula feels great, non greasy, I swear it improves my acne haha. Skin: perfect, wallet: empty
