Para utilizar a Elitehood Ice Cold Pack, siga as instruções abaixo: Para a terapia fria, encha a bolsa de gelo até dois terços com gelo e água. Aplique na área afetada por 15 a 20 minutos, podendo repetir conforme necessário. Para a terapia quente, adicione água quente (não fervente) à bolsa e aplique na área desejada pelo mesmo período. I have used Ice Bags from Walgreens for a couple years and liquid seeps through them as the salt water that I use melts. That bag is about the size of the mid-size bag of this Amazon set.
I injured rotator cuffs on both shoulders, so ice down at least twice / day to deal w/ pain and inflamation. The large bag is great, staying cold for quite awhile due to the volume it holds.
I have found that salt water w/ 22% kosher salt will not freeze solid in the freezer, staying flexible to mold around the shoulders. No lumpy ice cubes… It also gets colder than ice in the freezer, so longer usage time. The large bag holds approx 1,000 grams water, mixed w/ 220 grams kosher salt. When it ceases being cold enough, I just pop it back in the freezer.
I keep the mid-size bag in the freezer to alternate w/ the big bag, when it’s refreezing. I haven’t used the small bag yet. The elastic strap to hold bags in place can be useful.
Best of all…these bags don’t leak cold salt water over my shoulders, as the Walgreens bags did! They get so cold, there’s a bit of condensation on the bag, but doesn’t result in getting wet shirt.
Cold gel packs are worthless, especially compared to the salt water ice packs. They don’t get, or stay, cold enough to be useful, especially for rotator cuff injury.

Would be more convent if the opening was a little larger to get ice cubs in easier. Does not fit with my fridge ice maker. Have to insert ice by hand.
Overall the ice pack is fantastic. Ice does not melt as fast. Perfect next to skin without putting cloth between ice pack and skin. Does not leak. Can be molded around body part. Will be getting rid of all my other ice packs.

It’s a plus to have a quality bag that can be sued for cold or hot compress. The 3 sizes are a huge plus, as is the Velcro wrap for knee or elbow that is included. Glad I chose them.

This was a great purchase! I have never purchased an ice bag so thought the assorted sizes might be smart. And smart it was! My sister fell the day after they came. I was using the large one and she needed smaller size. The strap sure helps keep it on the knee! High quality material for the bags. White caps help you locate in bed, in chair or in room. Great investment!!! The price is reasonable and a great addition to your first aid kit!

I just had knee surgery and these ice packs worked great. The strap keeps the ice pack in place which is hard to do on a knee and the different sizes are great for various areas. There was no leaking and they stay cold for quite a while.

I’ve searched everywhere for something to help with Hot Flashes and this WORKS!!!
I keep the small one filled with ice and handy at all times. When I feel a hot flash coming on I put the cold bag on my inner wrist and instantly the flash slows then stops. I keep it on my bedside for night flashes.
It stays cold for hours then I just pour the water out and add more ice.
