I was not sure about the effect of help these small envelopes would provide. I was very skeptical but I gave them a try since I had them and I needed help getting and keeping liquids.
I was having issues with headaches and cramping mostly because I was usually dehydrated. I drink plenty of water during the day but I needed to increase the electrolytes. I started using this product and I think they are working very well. I feel better, I have not had any more cramps for the past few days.
I was expecting the envelop to contain some powder to get mixed on the water. No, the content is liquid, you pretty much “squish” the envelope to a liter of water, that is all you need to do. I can actually get a faint salty taste, I like it, it is no longer a plain/tasteless water.

These electrolyte add-ins are unflavored so they basically taste like salt water, but it’s not noticeable once you add it to your favorite beverage. It comes in a cleverly designed packet, too – easy to carry with you in your truck, lunch box, gym bag, purse, pocket, etc. You simply bend it in half at the seam and squeeze the liquid into your 32 oz. drink cup, water bottle, or 1-liter hydro pack.

These little packets are easy to use. Simply bend them over your drink and let the liquid pour in. Each Packet contains a single use amount of liquid trace minerals for about a liter of water. If you use a regular or large reusable water bottle, it will be easy to add the electrolytes and give you a good nutrient to water ratio. Don’t use the standard disposable plastic water bottles simply because they don’t hold a liter of water and their tiny screw top opening makes it hard to add the liquid.
The electrolytes add a minute sweet-salty taste to water, that is expected, but is barely noticeable. If you add it to a juice or other flavored beverage, you probably won’t know the difference. The packets are easy to use, lightweight, and convenient to carry. You could probably stow some in a baggie and and carry them with you on your adventures.

I’ve been looking for something to help with hydration, especially during these hot summer days. I’m not a fan of the fake colors and sweeteners in Gatorade and those other sports drinks, so I wanted something more natural.
These things are fantastic. They’re totally natural and super simple to use. They come unflavored, which means they taste a bit like salt water, but honestly, you hardly notice it once you mix it with my favorite drink. These are basically little packets of concentrated, artificial sweat. You mix these with some water and they replace the minerals you sweated out. No flavorings, so they taste like sweat, but that’s to be expected. the little packets are a pain to open as instructed, not sure if it’s due to the air pressure difference between where they were packaged and where i ‘m located, but i needed to open the packs with a set of scissors. The contents are liquid, and super concentrated, a 16 oz water bottle mixed with it is almost seawater.
If you’re looking for re-hydration without dyes, sugar, or artificial flavors, you’ve come to the right place, but you might need a pair of scissors to open, at least at sea level.

I’m not quite sold on these. The science is there, electrolytes are good for you, but the amount just isn’t. Not a whole lot of substance for the price of these. the packaging is convenient, and the flavor is certainly salty- squeeze them gently so the liquid doesn’t go spraying out to the side. 🙂

These electrolyte snap packs have been a game-changer for me for electrolytes on the go. They are the perfect amount for restoring electrolytes, and you can barely taste them when mixed w/ a bottle of water (key word barely, they are kind of salty, as expected.). I find they mix well with water flavoring, but it’s not necessary. Opening them is a snap, literally. Once you figure out the trick you will wish everything came in packs like that!
Overall I highly recommend!
