Update on my initial review: after having written about my disappointment, the seller reached out to offer me a replacement which I recently received, and appreciated very much. This time the product was a lot better. I’ve made a bottle of syrup and have been enjoying delicious tea made from these dried elderberries. Very disappointed in this product. I purchased this to make Elderberry syrup, and once I opened the package I ended up having to pick out twigs, pebbles, and green dried berries. Most of the berries were the size of sesame seeds. Will not be purchasing this brand again, especially after paying $24.00 for them

First I’d like to say that this seller provides excellent customer service. I had several issues with this order and ultimately reached out to them via their website. The berries are great. Not a lot of stems or anything. Smells fine. I only got 4 ounces of berries along with three other ingredients I didn’t need but that was an honest mistake during fulfillment. What I received was a good product, just not what I ordered. I couldn’t submit seller feedback because when I clicked on links to do so, I was taken to a completely different product/seller. Not sure what’s happened there but the seller resolved the issue quickly and courteously. Good customer service on their end.

I originally left a two star rating (I have left the original below so you can read my first experience) but am back to change it.
I have been wholly impressed with Birds & Bees Teas customer service and their desire to make my experience a better one than it initially was. They immediately reached out to me and apologized for the state of the original berries I purchased and offered to send two new bags in their place!
They have been communicative and pleasant at every turn, sent the berries out ASAP and 3 day priority!
Likewise the new berries they sent were very good quality and are clearly fresh and much larger than the first batch I purchased and have very little debris.
I am very happy with my entire encounter and feel they earned this 5 star rating.

These berries are tiny and appear to be very old and or over dried and are full of twigs and odd large dry things that need picking out. one of the two, yes I ordered two bags, I received even had multiple tiny sea shells in it!
The only reason I did not return them is because I needed it asap and only one place local to me sells elderberry and they were out. I am in Alaska and elderberry is hard to find here.
The only reason I am giving it two stars instead of one is because they have a good flavor.”
