I’m 58 and have sensitive skin. While I don’t have ‘acne’ my complexion feels and looks congested. Ick. I’ve been on the hunt for a cleanser that works and also doesn’t leave my skin dry and flakey, or is gentle and also cleans. Even baby wash dries me out. I’ve been using Down to Earth for a couple weeks and I love it! It has a beautiful gentle citrus scent, silky texture, clean rinsing. Best feature is, this stuff works! My skin is left soft with no dry feel, irritation, or flakes. And my skin is clean! My pores are seriously clearing and texture is smoother. I don’t spend much on skincare, so Eight Saints was a step up for me, but the tube is huge and will last so long. I’m a convert for real!

The texture of this face wash is nice and lathers well. It’s a gel like texture and the smell is very fresh. I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin. I have been using it twice a day for over a week and so far I’m enjoying it. The bottle is large so it should last quite a while.

This clay-based cleanser did a great job cleansing my face and deep down in my pores. It even exfoliates a bit. My face feels so smooth afterwards! I have normal to combination skin so I used it sparingly so as not to dry out my skin. It is great on my T-Zone when I’m feeling particularly oily. That happens frequently here in Florida in the summer! This would be wonderful as a daily cleanser for someone with oily skin. It is silky and easy to apply to my face. It is important that you follow the directions to shake the tube before applying it to your face so that the clay is well distributed otherwise it can be difficult to dispense. It does not dry on your face like a clay mask and easily rinses with warm water. It smells like a clay-based product (very natural) so it isn’t fragranced. That’s great for those with allergies. Really enjoy this cleanser when I need a deep facial cleanse!

This face wash is the only one I have ever used that does not cause my skin to break out while at the same time not drying my skin out. I love using it in combination with other Eight Saints products but it is great even just on its own. It leaves my skin soft and has a nice, gentle scent that wakes me up in the morning. Highly recommend this product!

In the first picture I had just gotten back from a 2 week hospital stay and I was out of face wash and I knew I wanted to try something new.
Now obviously the lighting is different but the two photos are a week apart using the Down to Earth gel cleanser as directed. I recommend getting the larger size, it’s a decent amount for the price.
Definitely shake it before each use as well because you will notice a change in consistency in the product if you don’t. It smells SO good, citrus and slightly earthy, it foams up decently and I noticed my skin was much softer after the first wash. I didn’t use anything else with the wash so that I could really see if it made a difference and I’ve got to say my skin has cleared up, become softer, and smoothed out noticably. I would definitely give this one a try and I’m going to try some of their other products for sure!
Side note, my skin dries out easily and this cleanser never dried me out!

I love this mud gel cleanser. It is very gentle and great for sensitive skin! It’s hard to find face cleansers that actually clean, but don’t irritate my face. I have combination skin and most face wash/cleansers either dry it out too much, causing more breakouts and irritation, or don’t do enough cleaning. This mud gel is gentle, but cleans well and I don’t have to use it more than a few times a week (sometimes every other day or so). I also LOVE that it has clay for detoxing, is gluten-free and has all natural & organic ingredients! It might seem a little pricey, but for all you’re getting in this cleanser, as well as the fact that a little goes a long way, it’s worth it! If you’ve been looking for a cleanser that is gentle, but still detoxes, removes makeup and doesn’t dry out your skin, look no further. BUY this one! 🙂

This has quickly become my favorite cleanser. It’s gentle and moisturizing. The citrusy smell is bright, but not overpowering, just clean. It leaves my skin feeling soft, but not dry. At night it’s just emollient enough to feel like it can get the day’s grime off without drying me out. So important going into winter. Also, I think this tube is going to last forever. I only need a tiny amount to get my whole face and neck clean. Definitely a good basis for a daily regimen.

This is one of my favorite products by Eight Saints! It is a very unique face wash. It feels earthy like a clay mask but in a face wash. It thoroughly cleans my pores, reduces breakouts and leaves my skin “just right”, not dry or oily later in the day. I love that the formula is all-natural, contains vitamin C, and its citrusy fragrance comes from essential oils.
