I admit, I haven’t been the most physically active person in the last decade. Going into my 30s, I know I needed to change that, so I picked up an exercise bike and have been doing a lot better about staying active. For me, having quality recovery supplements like this really helps me stay motivated, even if it is just a placebo, but I am really enjoying this stuff!
The first time I made it, it was quite gritty, and I thought that was the product itself, but I realized it just needed a more serious shaking. Future servings have been much smoother and I love the watermelon flavor, even if it is a little inauthentic tasting.
This powder doesn’t clump up like so many and seems to be packed with incredibly clean ingredients that should work well for your muscle recovery and overall hydration. As with all supplements, everyone’s experience will vary, but so far I’m glad I found this product.
All in all, if you can manage the price per serving, this stuff is great!

I don’t think BCAAs are an essential supplement for most people. You’re better off investing in more protein (as long as you’re getting protein from animal sources). I take this when I’m working out on an empty stomach to (perhaps) avoid breaking into muscle for energy. I’d rather eat something before a workout, but on the days where it’s not possible I mix these BCAAs and drink them before and during my workout.
The taste is pretty good. It leans a bit more on the sour side, which I prefer. Some BCAAs I’ve tried are too heavily sweetened with artificial sweeteners, but this one has a good balance of sour to sweet.

I also love the great flavor oif the sour peach variant.
I have been using this product in lieu of my regular amino mix,
and I haven’t skipped a beat.
Nice product, well worth a try.
Not a fan of the bubblegum flavor, though.

I’m not entirely sure why they felt the need to add so much sweetener to this. It’s almost ironic that a zero sugar supplement can be so over sweetened. The added flavor is also not the best. I would describe it as tasting like those chewable Flintsone multivitamins mixed with stevia. Aside from the taste, this is basically a more complete BCAA supplement that uses all nine essential amino acids: (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine), instead of just the three BCAA’s.
This obviously benefits muscle recovery, but some of the added amino’s such as phenylalanine and tryptophan also contribute to hormone regulation and immune function. I should also mention that they’ve included all 11 non essential amino acids, (aminos that the body produces independently), which are beneficial for overall health, particularly in times of stress, illness, or increased physical activity.
Despite the flavor, It’s actually fairly impressive supplement given that it covers all 20 amino acids. Given that it has benefits beyond athletic performance, I’m willing to tolerate the taste.
