We used these for a Hawaii vacation. Not a lip sunburn in sight. It doesn’t sting and it not overwhelmingly smelly.

Hi! EcoLips spf Berry has been my favorite lip balm for five+ years. The slip (the way it glides) is perfect, the scent is great, and my fave thing is you wouldn’t even know it had spf in it unless you saw it on the label!
I am a lip balm fanatic and this was my holy-grail tube, the one I recommended to everyone.
HOWEVER, I purchased this five pack and with one swipe I knew they changed the ingredients. The scent tasted like I had licked sun block or something equally off-putting. I could still taste the flavor a couple hours later. Checked the new label with one of my old ones and yep, the active ingredients had changed (even though it’s still the same SPF 15). Will sadly never purchase this again. Heart-broken and on the hunt for something that’s even close to what this Berry spf used to be.

I can’t tell you what this chapstick tastes/smells like, but it certainly isn’t vanilla — but it is fairly nondescript so it’s not bothersome in any way. I am a diehard Herbal Essence user but since that brand is no longer available, I’ve been searching for the past few years for a representative substitute. I’ve mostly been disappointed, but so far this Eco Lips is doing the job. Most importantly, when I put it on before going to bed, it actually lasts through the night. It’s not greasy, its not oily, just coats the lips and does its job. SPF 30 is also better than the SPF 15 of the other flavors.
