I read a lot of mixed reviews and I think some people missed that this is a chemical peel, meaning yes your skin will burn and peel. I have had melasma above my lip for two years. I have tried many different serums and creams to lighten it with no results. After using this product, the melasma is 90% gone.
A couple of things to keep in mind if you decide to use this product:
– it is very potent. Your skin will burn almost as soon as you put it on
– be careful not to let excess product pool in one area. I do have a section of skin that peeled and left the skin underneath raw. I have been moisturizing that area more and using aloe to help heal the skin, and it is healing nicely now
– you only need a small amount. After three applications, my skin started to peel. I stopped applying when I noticed the peel
– keep your skin moisturized while it is peeling. Essentially, I treated it the same I would a bad sunburn
– use sunscreen
– my skin peeled for about a week. Keep that in mind when deciding when to use
I am still nursing the area of skin that burned deeper than the rest. I do believe that part was user error and I know how to better apply next time. I will probably do another round in a few months, knowing how to better use the product now, and hopefully see the rest of the melasma gone

So I want to say that it just didn’t work for MY face. It actually messed my face up. So now I’m just working on getting my face back to its previous state. Like my face broke out so bad and now I have to start over, but that’s what happens whn you try new things. It’s trial and error. So this was a huge error. It’s crazy because my face isn’t sensitive to much but it DEFINITELY couldn’t handle this. Anyway I just decided to keep it and use it on my body instead since I do have a few older scars on my legs and arms. I’ll update on that later. All in all this stuff ruined my face but that doesn’t mean it won’t or hasn’t helped someone else’s.

This stuff is REALLY GREAT on old scars!!!!! I have tried professional microneedling and fraxel laser treatments at the dermatology office and this product works WAY BETTER. I never would have imagined I could erase some very old scars. It is amazing how many times you can find a product on the internet or a home remedy that works better than what your doctor gave you to treat a problem. My dermatologist said she would only be able to improve a small facial scar by 50 percent. This product, Ebanel, has improved the scar much more. I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks and my facial scar and some VERY OLD and DARK scars on my leg from a fasciotomy surgery have already faded. WOW!!!!!! I never though I would have been able to get rid of the scars. Over a decade I have tried numerous bleaching and skin lighting creams and products made for scar treatment. Many of the creams I purchased in the past caused acne breakouts and were ineffective. Ebanel dark spot remover does not break my skin out. The price is VERY REASONABLE at around $20 dollars. Other bleaching creams can cost more than $50 or $100 dollars and are not effective. Procedures at the doctors office can cost hundreds or thousands and come with risk. The Obagi bleaching cream my dermatologist recommended was $100 and not even 25 percent as good as Ebanel. The Ebanel bottle is small so you will have to reorder monthly depending on how large an area you use the product on. After first applying the product the scar may seem darker but will quickly lighten with continued use. This product encourages the skin to peel and to heal. (I use this product after mironeedling at home with a derma roller). PLEASE KEEP MAKING THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!❤

Hyperpigmentation left behind by acne is a major insecurity of mine. Now that hydroquinone is no longer available over the counter, I found this serum as an alternative. I did patch tests on my neck and chin for three days with no adverse reactions.
Afterwards, I applied the serum with a q-tip to the areas I wanted to fade, every other day, for about a week. Just as the box stated it would, my skin darkened in color. I had no discomfort, itchiness or burning, but then the darkened skin became shiny and did not peel. It instead scabbed and became sensitive to even a gentle cleanser… indicative of chemical burns so I discontinued use. The skin continued to crack and split days after usage and then became very pink and inflamed and darkened as it healed. The areas I applied the serum to are now -extremely- darker than my natural skin tone, remaining visible even under color correcting concealers.
This is going to take months, if not longer, to correct. The damage done to my skin and self esteem is not worth it. The serum is labeled as “potent” but it is dangerous. I have caramel colored skin and the patches left behind by this serum are nearly black in color. So devastating.

Es un excelente producto, con una excelente formulación. Es una exfoliacion química, prolongada. Debes cuidar mucho la piel en ese proceso. Usar provitamina b5 , centella asiatica para disminuir inflamación e irritación. Y así aprovechar al maximo los resultados!

I am a very fair skin Caucasian woman. I am 47. My skin is relatively flawless, I get fraxels regularly and stay on top of a skin care routine. I bought this and used it to spot treat my one dark spot on my jaw line that would lighten with a fraxel, but never fully go away. It’s burned when I applied it. I then waited and added aquaphor after about an hour. The spot got very dark and that spot peeled off. The skin under was a bit raw. I only used it once, but it worked. It has healed and actually worked better than a fraxel for that spots. It is a chemical peel, and I will need cover my face with it. It’s to harsh, but it works!!
