A little on the warm side when first applied and it’s hardens over time. They give you several applicators, you need them but waste product when changing one out.
Seems to work. Is it worth the higher price I don’t know.

I have multiple internal and external hemorrhoids as well as chronic anal fissures. I’ve tried everything out there. Preparation H probably came the closest to providing some level of relief, but I was still in pain and very itchy, so I decided to look for something else to try.
This is the best for both pain relief and itching. I will say though that for maximum itch relief, definitely get some witch hazel wipes to use after each BM as well. This product stings a bit on application, which is the lidocaine working. The stinging soon turns into s pleasant warm tingly feeling that makes both pain and itching subside.
Another word of advice though: if you have internal hemorrhoids, use a suppository to get at those. I have tried multiple applicators including the one that came with this product; and it’s just way too painful to try to get past the swollen tissue. Ditch the applicator and just purchase any suppository that is cocoa-butter based and contains some medication like phenylephrine. They are far more comfortable to use; I stick with this product on the outside plus a suppository.

I purchased this cream after my previous regular cream stopped working for me. This seems to numb the pain and provide some comfort but I have a question for the people making this cream; did you try to use your OWN applicator?????? It Is stupidly designed as it has flat uncomfortable tip that isn’t round as applicators usually are!! This caused me a scratch while I’m trying to heal my hemmorids!!!

Let’s get to the con first. It was advertised this product guaranteed 2 years of shelf life. Yeah right – my exp date was 9 months away.
Now the pros. This product works. I swore it works. However, keep in mind to get your timing right because it does make you want to poop more frequent. Which means if you use this before going to work, you’ll end up taking a dump at work. Approx 7hrs after the application. Which is also bad in a way that doesn’t allow the product to fully absorb into the tissues. As a result of eating too much chili pepper, I have been having bleeding for 11 months now. I thought my situation would heal on its own only to find out it got worsten. Thank god for the internet – Mayo Clinic recommended Lidocaine formula. Amazon got it so I bought it. One application and my bleeding disappeared. Now that doesn’t mean I’m completely healed. This will take some times but I’m sOOOOOo happy, I’m no longer bleeding. No joke please 🙂

Nah trash, doesn’t work. All it does is temporarily relieving the symptom. It doesn’t heal it. What a waste of money. And the thing I’m most upset about about this product it makes you sit on the stool all day, pooping every 2 hours. Waste of my time, waste of my money, stay away from this trash guys. Save your money, get a $5 Chinese herbal dictami tube and your problem goes away forever.
