Exactly what you expext –
I have been using this product for a while now, I just bought it here because I moved and did not find it anywhere else. It is not irritating and helps control the oil production. It does not have an oily texture, therefore it is GREAT for oily skin.
I have a skin-prone Oily skin and use this product and it has been working perfect for around a year or so. I use it twice a day. At morning and night and its very long lasting since it will take you a minimum of 4 months to empty the bottle.

Absolutely love it. Smells is not overwhelming like acne washed used to. My face feels super soft and feels fresh, like the layers of skin isn’t being pealed off. It isn’t drying of my skin. It feels like makeup was taken off but not my skin. I highly recommend!

Love this product! I have very sensitive combination skin, so finding a product that works for me is very difficult. This is such a nice light scent and very gentle yet foamy. It cleans well and does not leave any residue. If you’ve been struggling to find something, try this!

I love this cleanser! This is one of the only cleansers that keeps my combo, hormonal cystic acne prone skin clear while managing oil production. I keep coming back to it time and again. With regular use blackheads even are diminished. It’s got a pleasant scent and lathers even though it’s soap free. You only need about a nickel size of product each time you use. A sample bottle lasted what seems like an eternity so the full size will last a loooong time.
It can make me feel a little dry at times, but it’s easily combated with a good moisturizer. I use either Embryolisse Lait Creme or Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet depending on how dry my skin feels. I find that the minimal dryness after using is better than being an oil slick mess with breakouts and it doesn’t make me flaky.
I would NOT recommend this cleanser if you have dry skin normally. As it is I mostly use this cleanser when the seasons change and the weather becomes warmer and my oil production is kicked into high gear.
This cleanser also removes makeup insanely well. My face is always bright, smooth, and clean after using and feels refreshed.
This cleanser won’t be for everyone but if you have oily acne prone skin I’d give it a try. Maybe try to find a sample bottle first, and definitely follow up with a good moisturizer that you know does not break you out.
I love Avene’s products and I will continue to have this cleanser on hand at all times, even in the colder months when I don’t use often, it’ll clear up a breakout in a few washes.
This is a lovely effective cleanser and I highly recommend it!

This product is simply divine, a true gem that has helped me in my journey to keeping my acne-prone and oily skin under control. The formula is so gentle yet effective, and I love that it’s alcohol-free so it doesn’t dry out my skin.
I must say, though, there is one minor issue that I have noticed with this product. The consistency of the gel can be a bit runny at times, which can make it a little difficult to control how much product you’re using. But trust me when I say that this minor issue is nothing compared to the incredible benefits this cleanser provides.
Overall, I can confidently give this product a 5 out of 5 star rating. It truly lives up to its claims of thoroughly cleansing the face and body without stripping the skin of its natural oils. And as someone who takes their skincare seriously, I can say with certainty that this cleanser is worth every penny. Highly recommended
