I first bought this at Ulta for $14 ish. My lips were severely cracked and bleeding due to Winter. None of my normal chapsticks or lip balms were working (and yes I was getting plenty of water.)
This healed my lips in about 2.5 days but I felt instant relief with how moisturizing it felt on my lips.
This cold creme does not feel stick or goopy at all. It is smooth and feels nice I barely notice it. The scent is also very neutral and pleasant, good for those who are sensitive to smell! Taste wise there is nothing to me. Maybe a very faint sweetness but it is not very noticeable anymore since I’m so used to this cold creme I just glide it on and don’t give it a second thought.
I do have a bad habit of biting my lips, but this makes my recovery time soo much better and helps with the pain from my bad habit.
I have used every stick down to the very last particle. It’s that good for me personally.
I have had one tube destroyed in the laundry because I left it in my pants pockets and it did not survive one bit. The seal is not washing machine proof but it would be okay in the rain or if it feel into some water for a little bit of time.
My only complaint is I feel as if it doesn’t last too long and it’s not enough product for how much I paid for it initially. I guess with daily to every other day usage it lasted about a month and a half for me using about..2 to 3 times a day. This is my 4th time purchasing this. (First two times in store at Ulta for $14 ish until I found it on amazon for $17 the first time (it was sold out at Ulta and I was desperate as my lips hurt that bad) then for $10.5 on sale the second time.

Avène Cold Cream Nutrition Lip Balm is the BOMB! It’s SUPER moisturizing. It’s not waxy whatsoever. It’s like a moisturizing facial for your lips. It’s so creamy and keeps my lips extra soft. I love to wear bright red lipstick, but if one has dry lips, NO color looks good. I carry a tube in my purse all the time. I put a tiny amount on under lipstick, and I apply a small amount over lip color if I want to lighten the lip color a bit. A little goes a very long way. The price is excellent for what this does for my lips.

Me ha gustado, llevo usándolo 3 meses (el mismo que pedí no se me ha terminado y lo uso diario). Lo pedí en la época que hacía más frío y diario tenía los labios demasiado resecos incluso se me partían y tenía pellejitos, era muy frustrante. De por si normalmente soy de labios resecos, era horrible. Me ayudó bastante a que no se me partieran y por lo tanto evitar el dolor de la resequedad además de hidratarlos, no tiene olor ni sabor, lo que me parece muy bien, especialmente si cuando tienen olor o sabor te producen reacción o estornudos, con este todo bien. Sí lo tengo que usar varias veces al día, no es que con una sola aplicación haga magia. La textura es más cremosa que un labello pero menos espesa que el Carmex (antes usaba el Carmex, se me terminó así que decidí probar este de Avene, al volver a usar el de Carmex ahora lo siento muy espeso)

It’s really treating my lips but it doesn’t feel moisturizing when you first apply it. I find myself going back and forth with it to get a better feeling on the lips cause when it touches the lips the balm feels kinda dry.
It definitely works though, my lips were super super dry and no lip balm was solving it. I apply this one when I wake up and before going to bed, sometimes in the middle of the day if it’s too cold. But I keep it at home and since it’s doing a good job treating my lips, I carry with me a vaseline cheap lip balm to apply during the day if needed and keep this one in my bathroom because it’s expensive and I want it to last. Also, it doesn’t feel that good on the lips so I rather use one that I feel good during the day and only using this one to treat my lips overnight and in the morning.

According to Amazon I’ve purchased these 19 times so I may as well leave a review! I started ordering this item in May of last year as I was on a hunt to find something better for my lips. I used to just use “chapstick” and then my go to for years was carmex but I would have to apply and apply and apply, while they are cheap it just wasn’t helping. I tried Aquaphor per recommendation and it’s disgusting, I don’t like how Burt’s Bee’s burn my lips. I was googling for recommendations and this one popped up. Initially I wasn’t thrilled, as I mentioned I’ve used Carmex for so long that they thought of spending over $10 on ONE lip balm didn’t really interest me. Also, I am one of those people who like to keep one in my desk, in my car and near my bed at home. So that can add up. However, since I’ve started to use this product it has quickly become my favorite! It works really well with my dry lips and it feels soft and doesn’t have a horrible after taste like the Aquaphor! I will agree that for the price, it doesn’t last as long as I wish it would and I also feel like I’m throwing a little bit out each time I get towards the end. It has a curved edge around it, which make it impossible to apply to the lips when it’s that low. So there are probably a good 4-5 uses I am throwing away and like I said after 19 purchases, that can definitely add up to a lot of waste. I’ll keep buying these, especially when they are on sale on Amazon but hopefully they’ll figure out a way to get a little product in the tube for the price.

This is the best lip balm I’ve ever used. My lips were always dry no matter the season. My sister, who works in a European pharmacy, gave it to me. I like it so much, I’ve used it ever sine. Now my lips are soft and smooth, there is no bad taste, and it provides a beautiful natural sheen.
