At best, as with many distinctive flavors, the taste of black cumin seed oil is something that people often grow to appreciate over time; however, its genuine promise lies not in its flavor, but elsewhere⬇️
- SPICE PAIRINGS🤝: Black cumin seed oil, with its slightly bitter and nutty flavor, pairs well with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cinnamon.adding depth to curries, soups, stews, and sauces

Great taste and use for our hair and skin

Seems like other black seed oil I’ve had over the years. It’s oily, with not much flavor, though everyone has a different palette. Personally, I’d call it fairly neutral flavor-wise.

This product is not black seed oil. It is cumin oil. Didn’t return because I found a use for it. False Ad.

I like adding it to my dinner or vegetables! The taste is awesome.

I ordered two of these oils and one of them arrived broken. Unfortunately they don’t let me return it or replace it.

I am going to start by saying the health benefits mean little to nothing to me. There is some science behind the power of black seed oil so its not of a snake variety and I appreciate that. Its just not my major interest in the product.
As for the flavor of the oil… its not for me. Slightly spicy and a little pungent that leans almost into a dusty flavor. And since this is not a cooking oil per-se that means I would be consuming it direct as a bread dip or as an addition to unheated foods. All thing being equal I would rather dip my bread into a good cold press olive oil and I would rather add fresh herbs to my salads or soups. It might be partially a regional taste thing too. I come from the cold north and so my flavor palate trends more towards a lot more fishes and creams rather that nuts and spices.
On a final note, since other reviewers went out of their way to point it out… my bottle did indeed come well packaged but at some point it had been aggressively doused by some other bottle of oil (probably from a box with a broken bottle in it). It had zero effect on my bottle and it was fully intact but I figured it was worth saying. As a fringe benefit it means my kitchen has the VERY pleasant smell of cumin!

So this is a nice oil for salad dressings and to make bread dipping oils. the flavor is a little bit spicy, so I like to add more pepper flakes to it. What I have been doing with this oil is putting it in smaller bottles and adding more herbs and spices for a customized bread dipping oil. This is a good buy!!

This is an interesting new flavor to us. While we have taken black seed oil capsules for health benefits during times of illness, we don’t taste those. This is a little bit spicy, with a touch of something else we’re not sure of, but it was nice. We decided to make this into a very simple salad dressing of 40% oil and 60% balsamic vinegar, with nothing else. It was very nice on our salad and something a little different. Based on cost, though, that’s a pretty expensive salad dressing.
