I’ve been buying these masks for years and highly recommend them. The soft silk of the mask fits so lightly on the eyes it’s barely noticeable. It also does the job so well in keeping the light out and has an adjustable strap.

I’ve tried several other sleep masks over the years and hated them all. The ones with pockets/sockets for the eyes don’t block out the light, and the other satin types aren’t adjustable. I’ve had one of these for 10 years and swear by it. The only reason I bought a new one is the elastic finally stretched out to the point where it slips off over night. I love the padded area that goes underneath the eyes as it ensures complete blockage of the light. And when I travel, I use it as a little pouch for my ear plugs so they don’t get lost.
I wash it in a lingerie bag using the delicate cycle in the washing machine, then lay it flat to dry. It’s been through several cycles like this over the years and always comes out fine.
My only complaint is that when I adjust it for my big head the rough part of the velcro is exposed which snags my hair. It comes out easily enough in the morning, but I just don’t want to worry about it. I just took a spare piece of the soft side of the velcro from something else and added it as a little patch. I did this on my original mask years ago and never had any issues from that point forward. I just took that piece and moved it to my new mask. I’d like it if the manufacturer included a little piece like this with instructions to help others.

This was worth the higher cost for me. The mask is very soft and comfortable and keeps the light out. Mostly used for travel for those hotel rooms that are too bright for me.

I’ve tried a few other sleep masks over the years. None are as comfortable as this one. I use it every night. It’s softly padded, adjustable and completely blocks out light. When one wears out, I simply replace it with the same model. Suggest you wash by hand so it will last longer.
