I notice sustained energy, no jolt. I appreciate that it is packaged in white plastic (at least) and not black plastic, which I can’t recycle. This product would be EVEN better if they had a refill pouch option.

I don’t get the jitters or any tingling from using it. Tastes like fake strawberry but I didn’t expect a nature taste anyhow. Have been able to cut 1 min/mile off walking speed using it, so it works without making me feel crazy jacked up. No downer coming off it either, which was surprising to me. Would recommend!

The energy boost from this preworkout was very clean, and I really enjoyed it. The flavor was delicious, and the ingredients were simple yet effective. It contains BCAAs to support your workout, citrulline for pumps, tyrosine for thyroid health, and theanine to reduce stress. Overall, it’s a solid preworkout. However, I gave it 4 stars because when I mixed it in my blender cup, it created a weird foam that wouldn’t mix, no matter how much I blended it. The drink itself tasted great, but the foam at the bottom was unpleasant and tasted like supplements. I drank it all, but I’ve never had a preworkout do that before; they usually blend well.

Energyze Pre Workout Powder intends to boost energy and vigor prior to a workout, similar to the commonly popular Spark (or other powders) from Advocare.
Cons:
——————
* For those who are caffeine averse, the pre workout has a slight bump in caffeine compared to its Spark or Advocare powder alternatives.
* Not quite the vitamin enrichment of other products.
Pros:
—————-
* The bulk of the benefit of this pre workout mirrors that of more pricey options.
* Sturdy canister that’s more vertical than horizontal (less shelf space)
* The workout powder does boost the workout, at least for me, similarly to other products.
* The 50% price point compared to competing products makes it a bargain.
Verdict:
————
* While not a true replacement for Advocare or other product lines, this workout powder amply provides similar benefits while not breaking the bank.

I love Dymatize protein so I thought I would give this pre-workout a try.
First, it does what it’s supposed to do and gives me a nice kick of energy to get through my workouts. It’s also one of the better tasting pre-workouts I’ve had and reminds me of lemon lime Gatorade.

From a reviewer who has taken over a dozen of these different supplements, if it has caffeine, you will feel an effect. I didn’t feel much of a difference from any other supplement that has 150 mg of caffeine honestly, but of course still felt an energetic effect. In my honest opinion, I have not felt much difference from any additives of different supplements, just the caffeine (with the exception of thermogemics, those definitely feel different). I would recommend as a solid pre workout, just don’t expect any magical difference.

I love the protein powder from this brand and saw this preworkout so wanted to give it a try.
Full disclosure, I typically have some complications with preworkout. My neck/throat sometimes close up and I cramp far more often. I deal with these side effects after taking Optimum Nutrition, C4, and also this preworkout. Not ideal but I’m used to it – it’s not unique to this preworkout.
I will admit, I got the strawberry lemonade flavor and like many preworkout (besides ON’s Fruit Punch) this stuff tastes like battery acid. Like almost bad.
Additionally when it comes to preworkout snack, be very careful what you pair it with. I had a leftover half chipotle bowl and then ripped a half scoop of this with 6-8oz of water. The bloat was unreal and because I cramp a lot as well I had to also drink a lot of water which made it worse.
I’d give it a solid 5 as it does what it’s supposed to and 150mg of caffeine hopefully won’t let you down.
Dropping it to a 4 because taste
Would love to try their peach mango flavor.

I was looking for something to hydrate and energize before skiing. This definitely did the trick. I was going to double up on the serving (2 scoops and16 ounces of water) but decided I better stick to the 1 scoop with 8 ounces of water and drink plain water for the rest of the morning while skiing.
Good energy boost for me. Not sure if is the 150mg of caffeine or the other ingredients, but I definitely felt more energetic as I hit the slopes. At just a little over a buck a serving, this is a nice value on an energy drink that you make to your own liking, with no store bought packaging to throw away.
I will definitely keep a jar of this in my pantry!
