I use Calcium Carbonate to make chalk paint for some painting projects. This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased from this brand and I always am satisfied with the quality. Easy to mix and works into the paint nicely. Great product!

Got this for chalk pastel art. For making side walk chalk. There was some great customer feed back on Arabic gum. That told me about using Calcium Carbonate.(Arabic Gum not so much did not work)
Glad that person did. Been busy making side walk chalk. Very happy, that they said something. I can now mix my base colors, then add this to lighten the tones. Supper easy..
Saw that there were 12 sticks of street chalk for $50.00 on here, so I decided to make my own. They are better in my opinion, as I can make mine at any color or size I want..
For all of those people talking about the warnings. That is for breathing the dust in your lungs. and that can be a major issue.. Use a mask, I’m very careful. I have a very small cup in the bag. Only open reaching in to get what I need. Then close it back up.
I would not eat this myself (nothing not FDA approved) But I am no Doctor. I personally would think twice, especially after the talc powder cancer issue that was in the news. Touching it, is bad enough.. Think its a little cuckoo myself…

I combine this calcium carbonate with pink Himalayan salt and baking soda to make my own cheap all natural tooth powder. Add a few drops of peppermint oil if you prefer!

So easy to mix with water or any other liquid, works great to keep by the bedside for those late night acid reflux problems. And so much more affordable than buying antacid pills, and no sugar to harm your teeth at night after you’ve already brushed them! Tasteless, extremely fine powder that mixes well. Just watch out, because if you spill it it will get everywhere!
