I got this body wash for my husband, but I confess that I have used it a few times already because it just smells SO GOOD! It isn’t the best lathering body wash, but that’s okay, because did I mention it smells good?! It does rinse away cleanly and easily, and it leaves behind the light, amazing scent on my skin. I’m not sure why Ducati is making body wash; have motorcycles become a bit boring? In any case, I’m glad they are! This actually uses some of my favorite scents to make this incredible blend: patchouli, bergamot, sandalwood, vanilla…mmm!
The only bummer is that it is really expensive for body wash. I guess that’s to fit with the luxury brand profile, but I probably won’t buy it again. I WILL, however, steal some of my husband’s when I use his shower!
I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

I was initially a little disappointed when this Ducati licensed body wash arrived at my doorstep. The packaging was a little disappointing and the bottle seemed a tad ordinary for an item associated with Ducati. The just over 10-ounce bottle looks a little cheap.
However, I’ve been for the most part pleased. I’m a lover of the Patchouli scent and it’s really quite rare to find it in a body wash. It’s quite pleasing. It washes on nicely and you can definitely smell the scent as you’re washing. The body wash lathers up rather nicely – it’s not super bubbly, but it does bubble and it really shines on the skin. I can definitely feel the scent lingering even after my shower.
The scent offers Sandalwood, Oriental, Lavender, Amber, Vanilla, Rosemary, Geranium, Bergamot, and Patchouli with the Patchouli definitely being pronounced. It’s definitely why I wanted the body wash and have been pleased that I can notice it.
The body wash does go on like a gel. It has an earthy color to it and feels soothing on the skin.
At this price point, you’re definitely paying for the Ducati name. I can’t help but wish that the overall packaging had a little bit more of a luxe feeling. But, that’s a relatively minor grievance for a body wash that gives me a scent I enjoy and works nicely as a body wash. This is an ideal gift for Ducati lovers and for men or women who will appreciate the Patchouli scent. While it’s not quite a 5-star for me, I’ll definitely give a thumbs up here for the Ducati body wash.

Great smelling shower gel. Lathers well with a loofa but not so well with a washcloth. It Rinses off easily. It leaves my skin feeling clean. I have dry skin and some body washes make it feel tight and I have to use lotion after drying off. So it is not moisturizing.

Much like the brand’s better-known motorcycles, this body wash is fast and furious. The Ducati Sport Shower Gel squeezes out smoothly and the manly aroma accelerates and foams while being rubbed into the skin. It cleans well and leaves me feeling invigorated during and after my shower. I’m not sure how much it really moisturizes, but the refreshing woodsy scent lingers. It costs a bit more than similar Axe or Old Spice products, but has a cachet those don’t. Get this if you’re a fan of the Eau De Toilette or the smell of Patchouli.

This stuff smells amazing. I saw it and am just about to get a new Ducati motorcycle and thought, what would go better with the new bike than some body wash of the same brand? But after it arrived I was blown away by how good it smells and how little you have to use to get a nice lather. Would recommend… awesome body wash and it is Ducati!!

I love Ducati, I have an 1199 S Tricolore and a Monster 796 and am an avid rider so this caught my eye and I bought it as a novelty. It has a nice scent but nothing that would overpower you and is an ok wash based upon a generic mass produced product(Ducati makes Motorcycles, not body wash if you didn’t know). While it will wash you clean after being in your leathers all day doing a track day, it’s just an average wash. Personally, I’d rather have the wash smelling like some fresh new Dainese Italian leather.

In recent years, I’ve been using Every Man Jack body wash, but the scents I’ve used are limited to sandalwood, cedarwood, and sea salt. Apparently, the scent of this product is “patchouli”, the name of an aromatic plant in the mint family. This scent isn’t fresh and cool like typical mint varieties, instead falling into the musky-earthy category, smelling sweet, spicy, and musky. After recently trying several different body wash products, I’ve found that I like this scent the best, probably because of its uniqueness relative to all of the other body washes I’ve used in the past. The scents of the natural deodorants I’ve been using also overlap with the Every Man Jack body washes I’ve been using, so it’s also nice to mix it up. All of this said, however, the product description here elaborates on the scent of this Ducati body wash as actually being “sandalwood, oriental, lavender, amber, vanilla, rosemary, geranium, bergamot, patchouli”, so apparently the brand felt a need to somehow get sandalwood in this one as well, but I personally don’t smell it. Other than an expectedly unique scent, I was also interested in this body wash because of the Ducati brand. I only knew about Ducati due to one of their dealerships sitting just a few blocks from me in the Chicagoland area, and a former colleague of mine mentioning his need to visit this location to get a part for his motorcycle. While I really like the scent of this body wash, its premium price point at a small volume is obviously due to its being a lifestyle brand, as it definitely shouldn’t be considered a natural product (see my nearby photo of the product labeling). Another reviewer here commented that this “body wash does go on like a gel”, prompting me to revisit the product labeling, which states that this is a “shower gel”. I find this humorous because I thought the industry moved away from the term “shower gel” and toward “body wash” several years ago. Perhaps the traditionally male scent of this product is also geared (pun intended) to an older generation.
