I just cut 90 very small tablets in half for my dog. It took me less than 5 minutes, and the cuts were truly centered and surprisingly clean. Not one broken-up pill in the bunch. It cut 8 pills at a time (the number of pills depends on the size of the tablet), and you put them flat in the canal; once in place, carefully twist the toothed gear to tighten the silicone bumpers to line the pills up and hold them still. Then, you just grasp the top and squeeze down with medium force. The sharp metal blade does the rest. It is fabulous. This will be good for cutting pills that are as big as 1/2″ or maybe a little bigger. And since the cutter is metal instead of plastic I expect it to last much longer than any of our other pills cutters.

Both my husband and I take a small pill that needs to be cut in half. (No it doesn’t come in a smaller dose) I had tried several other single pill cutters but it was very difficult to get the scored side lined up and often the pill was cut incorrectly thus wasting half of the medication. This cutter not only provides smooth even cuts, but also makes it easy to line up the scored parts to cut the pills neatly in half. As an additional bonus I can do 5 at one time making the process much more speedy. Love it.

crushes very small pills. blade isn’t sharp enough. if you have larger pills it woks well. but for very small pills it’s not sharp enough and crushes them.

I got a full prescription and then the doctor said to take half. Lots of little pills to split. Now with this unit it is easy and accurate to use. I had to do that one at a time with my old one but I never had a full bottle with tiny pills to split. This makes it so easy.

This is the best pill cutter I have ever used. After a lifetime of disorders that make it hard to swallow, this pill cutter is a lifesaver. I can cut a week of pills at once, there’s a catching tray, and I love that it’s adjustable to hold the pills in place. I’ve never had one this nice, and it’s close to how much I used to pay for the basic single pill cutters sold at most grocery stores. Plus, I love the color options. 5 stars. I will be ordering more as stocking stuffers this coming holiday.

I had a pill splitter before this one and I wish I had gotten this one sooner.
You can cut multiple pills at a time and it doesn’t matter the size of the pill with the adjustable wheel.
I have a VERY small pill that I need to cut in two every month. My old pill splitter, I had to make sure it was in the exact right spot. This one, you put your pills in there, even five at a time, tighten the adjustable wheel and push down on the top and done.
Saves me so much time and effort. If I ever lose this one I will definitely purchase again.
