Descrição do Produto: DSO Vegan Omega 3 Algae Supplement – 180 Cápsulas

when reviewing a supplement that I have taken before from a different brand….and in this case, a different main ingredient supplier, I can only go on what I know. They look like the picture in the ad. They are not smelly like some fish or krill products can be. I have not noticed any after taste or harsh effects on my digestion…and they seem to do what I take to them to do..plus there are a ton of them in the package for a reasonable price, and they are plant based..so I feel better about them in that we are not killing seafood to get it. All in all I would do this again.

I’m not sure what these are made of, but they give me the classic after-burps that are very fishy. Or algaey as they are vegan. I have to space out all 4 pills into morning and night cause all 4 at once is a bit much on my stomach. I do like them because they have a decent EPA/DHA amount, and aren’t horse-sized like most other brands.

This is a great option for omega-3 that avoids the fish smell, taste or the dreaded fishy burps that you get with traditional fish oil supplements. It is algae based, but still provides a good dosage level, with each serving yielding 700mg of DHA and 900mg of EPA. The downside is that a serving is 4 caps, so if you want to take it at the 2,000mg level, the 180 caps will last 45 days.
This is the first time I’ve had a supplement packaged in a pouch rather than a bottle. I think that’s a great resource-conservative way to package them. The pouch is stout and secure, so I didn’t have any worries about the caps being kept secure in transit. The pouch has a decent quality zip lock closure at the top to keep it secure once opened. You can also transfer the caps to an empty container (if you’re like me you have an ample supply of suitable containers!) if that works better for your storage needs.
It is a bit pricey, but it’s not priced out of range for a plant-based omega-3 supplement that delivers 2,000mg per serving. I’d rate the overall value as average.
4.5 stars. I’ll round up to 5 since I appreciate the limited packaging waste generated by the pouch versus a conventional container.

I ordered this DSO Omega 3 Algae Supplement, as omega-3 is extremely important for maintaining your overall health, as it provides benefits across the board.
Not only does this supplement help maintain healthy bones, but it directly targets the root cause of bone loss. This omega-3 supplement also aids in restoring and repairing your immune health, heart health, brain health, and joint health. It can even assist in weight loss.
With this, this product is also Vegan, and made in the USA.
The one downside is the cost. Being roughly $50 for a 45 day supply is quite pricey. Being over $1 a day for just one of my many vitamin and mineral supplements, I don’t see myself being able to keep up with the cost of this particular Omega 3 supplement, unfortunately. It also states that one serving is four capsules, which is quite a lot for only one supplement.
I would recommend this supplement if you are looking for a new omega-3 supplement, but the price is the one downfall. It has so many great benefits for your entire overall health… I would give this five stars, but I have deducted one star simply for the price.

At recommended daily dosage of four (4) capsules, this package only lasts for 45 days. At time of writing, daily cost of approximately $1.11 is outside my budget for this type supplement. Product also includes soluble Corn Fiber that doesn’t work for me. I have personally decided to go back to other algae-based Omega-3 dietary supplements.
Thanks for indicating if you’ve found my comments and photos helpful in your consideration of this product.

This company incorrectly uses the term Fish Oil for Omega-3 oil. Regardless, algae is a better source of Omega 3 than fish so I prefer these capsules to actual fish oil.
There is a bit of an algae smell so I know the active ingredient is present. This is what I personally take and recommend to anyone who wants to supplement their diet with safe Omega 3.

The right dosage. Ease of use. Environmentally friendly packaging.

My product seemed all good until I became interested in the manufacturer. The web-links are broken and they have no product guarantees or third-party testing. Red flags everywhere. Definitely won’t be buying this again without some kind of face to the company and proof of what is actually in these capsules.
