The smell is very very strong. However my skin looks amazing after several weeks of using it. I love the results and can look past the strong smell. My skin is sensitive and this is perfect! Wonderful results using this toner.
Review –
This product may be ‘Unscented’, but it definitely has a strong unpleasant odor. It also stings when applying, especially if your rash is raw or irritated. However it seems to be helping soothe a large rash that popped up on the back of neck – the rash is noticeably smoother and less red.

Leave the rubbing alcohol out! This product would be way better if they used witch hazel toner instead of rubbing alcohol. It burns.

I ordered this in the hope that it would help with dry and flaky skin. The 2-pack comes individually shrink-wrapped. I shook a bottle and poured out a small amount to try. What I didn’t expect was the strong smell of rubbing alcohol. Then I looked at the list of ingredients on the bottle. Sure enough, it contains isopropyl alcohol as the second ingredient. It may probably help with flaky and irritated skin but it also tends to dry out my skin. On top of that, the smell is stinky and strong, at least initially. Anyway, it may have some skin benefits but isn’t for me.

I am reviewing: Dr. Robaina Sulfur Balsam Body Toner – Skin Care for Psoriasis, Eczema, and Sensitive Skin – Daily Micro-Exfoliant Toner (Pack of 3)
Let’s be honest here. This stuff stinks. Sulphur just does. Before putting this on my face, I did some googling and decided to just muscle through it and try the stuff.
It has a watery consistency and an unappealing yellowish color. I put some onto a cotton pad and wiped it over my face, omitting the eye and lip areas. I went down the neck as well. I had to stand in front of the fan to be able to breathe while I applied it. It’s that strong! It dried very fast. The smell did not go away.
While I sat there, feeling my facial feelings, It began to be a tiny bit uncomfortable. I can’t even describe it. It had me back on the internet, searching for instructions. Do you rinse your face after using sulphur toner? After about 10 minutes of searching with no good answer, I decided to just go and splash some water onto my face.
In front of the mirror, I saw that my skin might just look a little bit smoother and more even toned. While i splashed the water on, I felt like my skin was almost powdery soft. I patted dry, and went back to my face shelf to find some moisturizer.
Now, some 20 minutes or so after using and rinsing the toner, my face still feels something. With all of the things I learned tonight about the use of sulphur in skin care, it’s sounding like it is worth a try. It all stinks. You should do some research before combining it with other skin care products, but… If you can get past the smell and the weirdness of it, maybe it’s worth it. 3.5 stars

The seal under the lid of the bottle was open, so I was afraid to use it. Waste of money. Got two replacements and same thing. I don’t know if the sulfur is causing the seal to be open under the lid? Did anyone else get them this way? They smell the same as the other two bottles I bought. I emailed the original manufacturer and they said to send them back if they come like this

Dr Robaina is the brand I trust the most when it comes to sulfur skincare products – they’ve nailed it! Do not get this if you want something that smells pleasant; get it to take care of your skin

Stinky but works great! Very soothing and hydrating on skin conditions.
