I like the scent, it’s a very subtle citrus that isn’t overpowering. That’s about all the positives I have to say, though. The texture of this body butter is awful. It’s incredibly greasy and after applying to my legs, I had to wash it off my hands. My pants stuck to my legs and the whole process was just annoying. Plus, 4oz for the cost isn’t appealing. I won’t be finishing this product, or reordering.

This body butter is not whipped as advertised. It also does not have any orange scent at all. It appears to be suffering from some kind of bloom and is a rock hard puck that smells like wet dogs.

This body butter isn’t whipped at all, and arrived as a hard solid in the jar. I had to scoop some out of the jar and squeeze it a bit between my hands to get it to warm up enough to apply on my legs. Eventually it softened up and does spread well on the skin. Leaves my skin feeling nourished and hydrated, but does have a bit of a greasy feeling that takes a few hours to go away.

not much a vanilla smell, i virtually smelled nothing. it’s is really hard to rub in and takes time for skin to absorb it. it’s moisturizing once rubbed in though, it does leave a greasy finish/ feeling though.

This body butter has the absolute best smell. The sweet orange makes me think of sunshine and happiness. It’s very moisturizing and leaves your skin silky and soft. I use it every morning to combat dry winter skin. A little goes a long way making this a great value.

It’s hydrating, but it is much like regular plain Shea butter or coconut oil where if it is cold, it has clumps. It must be warmed up well before use to liquify everything evenly or tiny balls of product will end up on the floor.
I got the ylang ylang scent and honestly I was not a fan, my partner did not like it much either. It smelled kind of stale.
The size is also not very large and it took a very long time to be delivered.
I did enjoy that there was a safety seal on the outside of the jar but I would not repurchase as tubs are unhygienic and this type of product is a little bit too finicky for me to want to use on a regular basis.

Customer Review –
It’s a real pleasure to use a product that actually just consists of botanical ingredients that are even certified organic. I’m so discouraged by products that claim to be “natural” but literally contain plastics like acrylamides and acrylates, artificial dyes and synthetic fragrances.
The rich, thick butter melts into the skin just as natural shea butter should when not thinned out with artificial emulsifiers, allowing the hydrating oils to fully moisturize the skin. My usually dry skin loves it.
What would improve this product? The container is an attractive size and shape, but would be so much better made out of reusable and recyclable glass, like many premium beauty products. The container is #5 polypropylene made from petrochemicals. It’s difficult and expensive to recycle polypropylene, so it is not recyclable in many cities, including mine. I hope Dr. Mercola can make a fine product even better with environmentally-friendly packaging.
