I’m not sure if my bottle was sitting in a hot warehouse too long or If that’s the way it normally smells. I read a lot of reviews and see another report the same issue. It smells bad.
It also stripped my skin of all moisture. Made it squeak. On the hunt now for a new organic face wash.

I have been trying several different facial cleansers, trying to find one I can use. I have very sensitive skin and am allergic to lots of ingredients, and this one was the best of all the ones I tried, but it still wasn’t quite right for me.
It did a fairly good job of cleansing, but something in it irritated my skin because it began producing a lot of oil afterwards and just didn’t feel soothed. The smell bothered my nose, and I didn’t like the taste it created in my mouth. It didn’t burn my skin the way the others did, but I am looking for something that feels good, not just “less bad.”
I’m returning this and will keep looking until I find something that I am more comfortable with. I can’t eat cucumbers, so maybe that’s why I didn’t do well with this. It has cucumber extract in it.

This organic cleanser does a good job of cleaning my skin, but I’m having a hard time with the scent. It has a scent of old cardboard. Hopefully it is nourishing my skin. I do really like the natural ingredients.
The bottle does not say where this is made. It is USDA organic.
