    Based on the product images, I had high hopes that this Castor Oil would likely arrive in a glass bottle, but it did not, arriving instead in a tall, plastic bottle (see my photo). While I appreciate that the bottle is completely opaque, which protects the oil from light-induced damage, I absolutely hate products I ingest or apply to my body making much contact with plastic, due to contamination concerns. I’m happy that the Castor Oil is USDA organic, non-GMO, and cold-pressed, so if it weren’t contaminated by its plastic bottle, it would be a very nice quality indeed. This bottle’s lid is easy to open and close with my weak, painful hands, but it was quite difficult to remove the protective seal beneath the cap.

    This Castor Oil itself is on this thick side, which is what I prefer for most situations, with the exception being for working it into my scalp, for which I prefer a thinner Castor Oil. Its scent is very mild and pleasant. I use Castor Oil for a ton of different applications, and it’s safe to say that it’s my number one beauty product, so I’m always happy to have more on hand.

    Overall, this Castor Oil would be extremely nice if it weren’t for the plastic bottle.

    A little here, a little there, some castor oil everywhere! I use this in my hair when I know I won’t be going out for a while so it can soak in before I wash it out. I use it in castor oil packs, on my eyebrows and eye lashes, the sky is the limit. This is organic, which makes it even better. I’m very pleased with this. A+

    Haven’t had time to evaluate this item yet. But it is easy to use, no bad smell and good to use for many things. I bought it to see if it makes my eye brows fill in as it is mentioned that it could We will see.

    I am obsessed with the current castor oil trend going on and decided to try it out too. I bought a few castor oil packs and so needed some good quality castor oil too! I saw this and assumed that it came in a dark colored glass bottle with a dropper, but to my disappointment it came in a white plastic bottle without a dispenser! Other than that it was good, certified organic, cold pressed, and hexane free which is just what I needed. I poured some of it into a glass bottle and use it like that, because it is said that when castor oil stays in a plastic bottle it leaches the plastic too so its not good for us. So I wish they changed the packaging to a glass bottle soon!

    This castor oil is ok, it’s like smells and feels like any other castor oil I’ve used, but it’s a bit pricey for the size. Usually I prefer glass bottles for things like essential oils, but I don’t mind this one being plastic. Also, the bottle says “exp: 2 years from receiving date” yet there’s a sticker that says “use by 092024”. Two years from receiving date would be 09/20/25.
