This serum feels like a lotion to be honest but felt incredible on my face, kind of made it look like face primer. Not terribly hydrating if you use it stand alone so I ended up layering lotion on my face after. This is the first time I wished a product came in a dropper type bottle because she’s thick!

Dr. Jart skin care is my go to, This Ceramidin skin barrier serum toner is perfect for my dry sensitive skin . I like to apply this serum toner in both morning and evening . After I wash my face and pat dry I then apply a decent amounts of this Siri I’m telling her onto my skin. I allow this to dry down a bit before I go with the rest of my skin care. This is perfect for people who have dry skin. It does a great job at strengthening my skin barrier and as well as Tony my skin is moisturizing so it’s dual action. I really enjoy using this. I use this only in the morning.

The toner keeps the skin moisturized and creates a barrier that prevents the skin from drying. It is gentle for sensitive skin too. The product is high quality and effective and thus gets our recommendation.

Firstly love the sturdy minimalistic packaging. This toner is slightly thicker than normal toners which tend to be more liquidy. This one is thick gel like with a yellowish color. It absorbs very quickly and gives a matte finish. It is nicely moisturizing, but I don’t love how there are unnecessary dyes in the ingredients. There is a slightly sweet fragrance. Overall I have sensitive dry skin but didn’t find this irritating and do like it. Had safety seal.

I have oily combination type skin, and I use tretinoin nightly. Most of my other toners and serums containing ingredients that I can’t use at the same time as a retinoid, such as vitamin C. So I use those products during the day, and I’ve started using this serum toner in the evening to combat the flaky and irritated skin that retinoids can cause. The ceramides and panthenol are extremely soothing and I can layer this by patting it in. It helps to soothe my skin and combat any side effects from retinoid use. I sometimes use this during the day as well, about 1 hour before I put on makeup and it helps my skin plump up and ready for makeup application. I really enjoy this and would highly recommend it for dry skin and people who use retinol/retinoids.

4⭐️- I would recommend it as the one to get.
Usually, I would cleanse my face, apply toner and serum, and finish with moisturizer. However, with this toner/serum, I wash my face, use this product, and then finish with the moisturizer. This bottle will last me quite some time because I only use a couple of drops on the tip of my fingers and then rub it on my face. I would not suggest using a cotton pad or cotton ball because it will only waste the product since it’s more of a serum than a toner.
I like that this product is free of all those chemicals that can strip your skin’s natural oil. It has Panthenol, which soothes my skin while creating a barrier to keep it hydrated throughout the day. I don’t see a need to use the usual serum, and when I’m using this product, it’s taking away one step in the process of my facial regimen, saving me a couple of minutes.
