    These snail mucin masks from Dr. G are amazing when it comes to soothing my face after a hot day in the sun or when I’ve used one too many retinoids! Each mask is in a sachet packed with serum so it’s super slimy in consistency. There was no noticeable scent when opening the sachet or applying the mask to my face and there was enough serum in the sachet to apply on my arms, neck, and chest.

    Please be aware snail mucin is not vegan so if you are vegan or live a vegan lifestyle, this is not the product for you. This also is not for people who have issues with slimy consistency or texture sensitivities.

    I left this mask on my face for 30 minutes and found all splotchy red areas from the sun and my retinoids were significantly diminished afterwards. Any rough spots on my face looked more hydrated and there was a dewy look to my face as I massaged the excess remaining serum into my skin. I think the ingredients list is very good and for five masks, this is a good value. 🙂 I will be reordering these.

    These masks come individually wrapped with a lot of serum. The mask is shaped that it can wrap under your chin and cover more skin than other face mask sheets. After leaving it on for the recommended time, I had so much extra serum sitting on my face that I had to use a cloth to wipe off the excess. Once my skin dried, it felt very sticky to the touch. I ended up rinsing my skin with water to get the sticky feel off. These masks are just not for me.

    This mask is fun to use. It has a slimy texture. It is very hydrating. I did not notice an anti-aging effect.

    This mask set is great for gifting and facial pampering. Feels just like the spa. Face feels extremely soft and hydrated. If cost is not an issue, you would really like this masks quality.

    I love snail and this is no exception. These masks are well saturated and they fit my face nicely. After I let them dry my face felt so soft and hydrated!

    I like that the Dr. G Black Snail Masks come in high quality waterproof packaging with instructions on them. The mask comes folded up inside the pouch. The mask unfolds easily and is not fragile to handle. I like how saturated the mask is. It is fragranced and smells very luxurious. Like a high end perfume. The mask stays well in place on the face. I loved how smooth my face felt after using and am anxious to use the rest of these to see if I notice any lifting benefits.

    Review: Dr.G Black Snail Lifting Mask Set, 5pk

    This is your old school sheet mask that were all the rage about a year or two ago. You just place it on a cleansed face and wear it for about 15-20 minutes and let the serums soak in. My face feels good and I like that this lasts about 20 minutes versus the ones you wear for hours. This will not give you glass skin which is a plus for me (the glass skin accentuates all of my texture and pores sadly).

    I love snail products, and these masks with snail mucin in addition to collagen and peptides are a nice treat for my skin. There’s fragrance but it’s light. Each package comes with good amount of serum in it, with some extra for my chest and arms. The mask adheres easily to the face and feels very calming, soothing, and cooling especially when refrigerated a bit before use. I leave this on for 30 minutes to an hour and my skin feels hydrated and nourished.

    When my skin is dry or irritated from using actives or from trying out too many skincare products, these masks are great to calm and sooth my skin, bringing back some hydration and moisture.
