Love these masks, Feel like they work to even out my skin tone and brighten and I have very sensitive skin but these are great.

Face masks are my JAM. I’ve tried dozens from the $3 price range to the uber-expensive and I’ve found that I really like the biocellulose masks, mainly because of the way they feel and they way they conform to your face nicely. While these were a bit of a splurge to me at this price point, I have other Dr. Dennis Gross products I like so I went for it. While it does sit on the face nicely (and stays put while you move around), it dries out within 20 minutes or less and the worst part is it smells like actual vomit. I don’t know a nicer way to put it. With so many other amazing face masks out there I just can’t justify paying this much for masks that have such a strong odor.

I didn’t want to like these as much as I did because of the price, but wow. It took me a minute to figure out that I needed to remove the mesh layer. Some one less mentioned in a comment that they used their red light mask with these so I did the same thing and I’m flabbergasted by the quality of my skin afterwards. I will be adding to my regime monthly for sure.

I love these masks for when I’m puffy or dry from traveling. They definitely brighten your skin and make your skin look refreshed.

I try out a lot of products. Even so (or maybe because of this), sometimes my skin gets dry and dull, and I have to try to figure out how to sort of bring it back to healthy and moisturized. Often, I just need a good exfoliation, a good moisturizer, and patience. Lately, we’ve had some health stuff going on in the extended family that has disrupted my normal night time routine as well as adding a fair amount of stress. My face just looked tired and dull and dry. I used this mask one time and it made a huge difference. I feel like my skin is refreshed, and, honestly, it sort of helps my mood too. Looking in the mirror and not looking so tired is a good pick-me-up in itself. This was also a great sort of jumping off point to start with a new retinol night serum. Between the two, I am feeling so much better. This set of masks is considerably more expensive than others I’ve tried, but it does seem to be a much more effective treatment. While using it, my skin did itch a tiny bit. It wasn’t the type I can put on and nearly forget about. Also, the eye holes were cut a little too close together for me. It wasn’t that they were too small, they just started on my nose and ended at the outside edge of each eye. I actually had to tear the corner a bit more to keep the mask from encroaching on my eye. This may be partially due to the fact that I have a pretty large bridge to my nose. Otherwise, the mask fit pretty well and covered my skin nicely (note that my face is relatively narrow). Rather than immediately throwing out the two outside layers, I rubbed what serum I could get from them into my hands and neck, and followed with a moisturizer. After removing the mask from my face, I rubbed the remaining serum in. After an hour or so, I applied a moisturizing sunscreen. I would have applied the sunscreen sooner if I had been going out into the sun. Don’t skip the sunscreen. The mask can leave you more vulnerable to sunburn since it has alpha hydroxy acids. That is all spelled out on the packaging though. In all, I think they did a good job with these. The cost is enough that I probably won’t use them with any regularity, but more when I feel my face needs a good exfoliating and moisturizing. No mask is going to be perfectly cut for all face shapes. Where I thought it might be missing spots, I just rubbed the mask to squeeze out a bit of the serum to rub it into the areas that I thought might be being missed. The cost is high on these, so I don’t think I’d buy them too often, but I do like them and will enjoy using them periodically. I also think this could make a good gift for someone that could use a little pampering and/or rejuvenating. Maybe just don’t tell them you thought they looked like they needed them.
