I’ve tried many different brands of collagen and enjoyed most of them. I usually get beef collagen, but I occasionally get mixes of different types, like this. This brand seems like typical collagen powder, except for the price, which is unusually high.
Like other collagen powders, the label says to add it to “your favorite beverage and stir to dissolve.” Like most other collagen powders, this works only if your favorite beverage is hot. Most brands of collagen don’t dissolve well in cool water. This brand is typical, forming clumps. Here’s a photo of a scoop of this collagen stirred into ¼ cup of room-temperature water. After a lot of stirring and tedious attempts to crush the clumps with the back of a spoon, there were still lumps.
I microwaved the mix for 30 seconds and then it dissolved fine. Here’s a photo of it after microwaving. It looks, smells, and tastes like beef broth, or at least some sort of meaty broth. It doesn’t have a fishy taste at all. This is typical of these collagen powders.
I know that many people say that collagen has no taste, but I find that this, like other brands, has the meaty flavor and umami taste you’d expect from assorted dissolved animal scraps. I enjoy it in soup, but I think it would be weird in most beverages.
I haven’t noticed anything about this brand that justifies the high price compared to other brands, but if you have money to burn, feel free to buy this.

I haven’t been using this Dr Amy Myers Spectrum 5 Collagen Peptides Powder long enough to tell how much it’s helping, but adding this to the biotin and occasional gelatin will, I hope, help my fingernails and joints.
I’m impressed with how flavorless and blend-able this powder is, which makes it easy to incorporate into drinks, gummies, etc. Just what I was looking for.
I received this in May of 2021 and the Best By date was March 2023, so basically there are two years of shelf life left.

I bought this Multi Collagen Protein and tried a small tea spoon a few nights ago, and it gave me loose bowels. I wasn’t sure if this was the culprit, so I tried a slightly larger half-table spoon with water last night, and I’ve had diarrhea all day.
Not buying or ever taking this again.

This is definitely one of the best collagen powders I’ve reviewed so far and I’ve reviewed several of them. This powder contains collagen obtained from five different sources which makes it better than those obtained from fewer sources. It has no taste that I can detect, and after some stirring it dissolved completely into my coffee and did not alter the texture or flavor of it at all. I’ve been taking collagen in various forms for the past 7 months and am now seeing the benefits of it. I’m 63 and my skin has been showing signs of aging and now it’s like it’s being reversed. My skin is much more elastic and youthful so I’m pretty much convinced that if you stick with it you will see positive results.

I was really excited for this collagen powder. I thought it would be unable to notice in my drinks. I don’t typically drink anything but water, so I added it to my water. It took it a while for it to dissolve completely, probably 10 or so minutes. Once it was dissolved the color of my water was a yellow/orange color. This not only smelled a little “meaty” but it tasted “meaty” too. I really tried to drink it, but I just couldn’t. I think this would be really good in something like a soup, or something with a really strong flavor. I don’t like this at all, especially for the price.

I’ve had joint pains in morning and knee, gut… issues since getting over 40. But I’m seriously being honest here, since I have started adding this to my day… I have realized I haven’t had any of it! So when I run out I’m going to review again to see if those things come back … & if so this stuff is collagen GOLD! And I’m sold for life!!
