I’ve been taking turmeric daily for several years, mainly as a maintenance supplement for some moderate middle age arthritis. After trying this, I’m not overly impressed. Despite the claims to superior absorption, I haven’t really noticed any difference from my regular turmeric supplements. And this one is so expensive that without significantly noticeable improvement in results I can’t justify choosing it. Not bad but not worth the price for me.

I have been using Turmeric supplements for about a year now. I am always searching for the next best formula to help my aching knees. This one, so far, seems to be helping my joints feel better. I have found that the formulas that work best for me are the ones where it’s required to take twice per day.
I’m always a bit skeptical when there is a claim by a “real doctor” as having a hand in the development of any supplemental product. But after looking her up on the internet she does appear to have the credentials to substantiate the claim. As with any supplemental dietary product, you need to do your research so that you are not throwing your money away. This is not cheap for the one month supply, but so far, it does seem to be living up to what is claims to be… and if you do not feel that it is giving you everything that is promised, you can get a full refund. That gives me peace of mind. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about adding a Turmeric supplement into their diet.

NOT QUALITY THEY CLAIM.
I have Absorption issues, when I take this curcumin, I find it in my stoole. BUT all the other curcumin I’ve not had this problem EVER! So basically this isn’t what they claim it to be. It should absorb quicker and not be left as little grains in my stools. You can see in the pills it looks chunky and like it’s stuck together, not a smooth powder like others. I’d look at an organic curcumin before spending the extra money on this. I won’t be purchasing any more of Amy Myers products.

I have been following Dr. Myers on social media for a long time now. I’ve always wanted to try her supplements but haven’t been able to until now. This is a good product to try because I have a friend who is a doctor and she told me this supplement is the one that she can see a difference on with patients who have inflamatory issues. She didn’t name a brand but I have tried a few since. It is hard for me to tell if there has been much of a change because I haven’t been taking it long enough but I hope it is making a dent. My inflammation markers are through the roof. I will keep trying for now and update if I see a marked difference that’s of note. I didn’t have any side effects from it and feel comfortable about the product just because of the doctor.

I’ve followed Dr. Amy Myers for years, and have some faith in her. This curcumin seems ok but is way expensive. It claims 86% curcuminoids, but another I often take by a well known company is 95% and MUCH less expensive, and I will get that again.

What is it that makes this rather pricey product better than other turmeric supplements?
It is an ‘amped up’ process that appears to be more concentrated and better absorbed.
This formulation also contains added vitamin C and calcium. Kind of surprised that it lacks black pepper as the combination of turmeric and pepper work synergistically.

I have tried a lot of different brands of Curcumin (Turmeric) supplements. This one stands out as being one of the best I’ve tried. Right off the bat you will see how bright colored it is and also the smell is amazing. It smells like fresh ground turmeric!
One of the other brands I am trying is Quality of Life which is a mix of Yellow and Black Turmeric. I like that brand too. I am including a photo of both of them so you can see how bright colored the Amy Myers brand is.
Be careful handling these capsules. I found out the hard way and didn’t realize when I was putting the capsules in my weekly supplement container that I got turmeric on my hands, then on my keyboard as I am writing this review. Just make sure you wash you hands after handling these capsules.
I think the $51 price is very reasonable for the quality of the product. This brands is a little more expensive than some, but it is worth it for the high quality. You get a 2 month supply, 60 capsules. The recommended dose is 1 daily, but you can safely take one in the morning and one at night which is what I do. In comparison, the Quality of Life brand is $20, but it is only a 1-month supply. Both brands are very good in my opinion.
