I have always used Dove hypoallergenic scent free soap, ever since a dermatologist recommended it to me as a teen. So I’m not into heavily scented soaps, but I decided to give this one a try. And I have to say the scent is just right, not too strong. I’m surprised someone would use the term pungent to describe the scent. It gives me a very fresh, clean feeling, with no lingering scents once I’m rinsed off. If I smell my skin afterwards, it just smells clean and natural. And it lathers up real nice. I keep my head cropped pretty short, and it lathers so good that I use this on my stubble as a shampoo. Pretty much the only thing I use in the shower. Makes a great lather for shaving as well, haven’t bought shaving cream in years. Only downside is, you’ll go through these bars real fast as they tend to dissolve quickly.

I haven’t tried this particular soap bought from amazon yet however dove soap is not new to me. I have been using dove for years. I tried using most of other brands before, and they were not delicate enough to use on your private parts. So when I finally bought and tried dove, I never bought any other brand any more. Dove is good for body, face, private parts. I expect this soap to be the same.
I am writing this review because of some unexpected benefits that i am super happy about. This soap have kind of strong smell. When it arrived I unpacked the soap from the plastic cover and put soaps in cardboard boxes in the bathroom closet. In the same closet we keep our laundry hamper. Since the beginning of the school year we were struggling with the smell of the stinky socks. One of my kids do cross country running and after practice the smell of the socks was unbearable. I have never encountered this type of smell before. But of course the socks were put in the hamper in the closet. I must admit it was scary for me to open the closet and i had to hold onto the wall when opening the door because the smell was so powerful that it could knock you unconscious. I tried to kill the smell by putting essential oils on the cotton round in the closet, but it wasn’t working. So now i have to tell you all, that this soap in the closet effectively killed that awful smell. I even called the other family members to check with them if they still smell the socks or no, and we all agreed that the soap did what we thought was impossible.
I highly recommended this soap for washing face, body , private parts and also for scenting closed spaces like closets and cupboards.

It’s soap. Really nice soap. In a nice big package, delivered by Amazon Prime. I’ve always found Dove to be easy to wash off, never leaving the feeling of “soapiness” on your skin. The aroma is quite pleasant, not flowery – and not overly artificial in its smell. Very mild, not overpowering. Who would have thought cucumber and green tea was a winning combination? My only gripe: 4oz bars, come on – few months ago you could buy these bars in 4.25oz size. Perhaps that’s the only choice when buying in 16-pack bulk, but it still feels underhanded.

This stuff is good general purpose soap. It does not leave skin feeling dry whatsoever. This is the first soap that does not have that squeaky feeling on the skin when washed off–leaving the skin dry. It seems to hydrate pretty well. The smell is pretty neutral. It does not smell perfume-like. I bought the 16-pack which was affordable compared to in-store prices.

I use this stuff as an everyday soap and I use after workout Defense Soap Body Wash Shower Gel 12 Oz (Pack of 2) – Natural Tea Tree Oils or after using a public gym or pool. The combo never fails.

This Dove cool moisture beauty bar is just like the white beauty bar, but with the scent added. It basically has a similar smell as the plug-in air fresheners. I’ve got issues with my skin and this works great to keep my skin soft. There is an added benefit …(sorry men)… Ok ladies, we all know that cleaning a (ahem)certain area with some soaps/body washes can… well, hurt really bad. This beauty bar definitely won’t cause that pain. Plus, it’s a great deal… especially compared to a body wash. I mean, one bar lasts a good amount of time. The one thing that I really don’t care for though is it can be messy. I never know what to do with the bar after each use. So, even for that, it’s definitely worth it to purchase this soap.

DOVE BEAUTY BAR BATH SOAP
My daughter has purchased DOVE soap for sensitive skin every since my grands were born. It is soft and gentle. I decided to try some too!
I love my DOVE BEAUTY BAR WITH CUCUMBER GREEN TEA SCENT. I mean, wow, this soap smells better than a candle! The odor is so sublime and refreshing. You can smell the soap while it sits in the shower waiting for its next victim.
My skin feels soft and moisturized after having my nice hot shower. The soap lathers up very nicely and is so refreshing. I use a special soap for my face but would not hesitate to use DOVE on my face also. It is dermatologist recommended. The bar fits nicely in your hand. I also noticed that one bar lasts a long time. I also love the green color!
If your skin is on the dry side, try DOVE BEAUTY BAR. You will love the scent and there are also other scents available. DOVE has been around a long time and is a new staple in my home. Another plus? Made in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. So important!
