    I had one of these that I got for Christmas years ago. I used it everyday for years until it finally wore out. It took me a little while to figure out where it came from. In that time I had gone through multiple loofahs from CVS. I’ve used this one for a few months now and it still looks perfect and cleans great.

    A “Manly” loofa sounded kind of silly but my husband really likes these and constantly requests that I restock. They do seem to get a little mildue-y pretty quick, I think because the scrubby side retains water. I’d recommend changing them out more than you would a regular loofa but I do like it because it’s the only exfoliation that my husband is willing to do

    Compared to Axe shower tool this is little smaller.
    Axe shower tool is fluffy and makes a lot of foam compared to the dove.
    Finally, given a chance, won’t rebuy this. Instead will go for axe shower tool.

    This is a great shower sponge!

    One side is quite soft and the other is a mild scrubber style. Very easy to use for various shower tasks. Overall it performs well for lathering and is a good value.

    I actually forgot that I had bought one of these prior. I honestly don’t get the point. On 1 side you have the exfoliator, but it’s really not that useful. You’d be better off just using your hand with an exfoliator cream. And the washing portion just seems like it wastes a lot of time. You need to put the soap on it, then scrub around your flat areas, but then when you get to areas where you’re not flat, you either try to wash in a way that’s like trying to put a palm sander in a toaster or default to hand or cloth.

    Think about it, if you need to wash your gentle areas by hand or cloth, this just adds a step which ultimately wastes time, water, and energy.

    The concept is pretty cool but in use I just don’t feel like it’s actually helpful.
