In addition to many other arthritis supplements, I’ve taken various brands and dosages of glucosamine for decades. Nothing ever helped but I kept trying. The apparent difference is that DONA uses crystalline versus regular glucosamine…don’t know what that means, but it works.
This stuff has noticeable effects: my very painful hands – especially the base of my thumbs – feel much better now. I have an autoimmune condition and if I do not take this product my joints start making clicking sounds and begin to hurt. This product helps to almost entirely eliminate this from happening. I do not know if this is still the case, but years ago my Rheumatologist told me this is the only brand of Glucosamine that had been tested and the results approved by the FDA. However, he did say the results showed only a minor benefit to taking the recommended two tablets a day over one tablet so he instructed me to take only one per day saying the second was really a waste of money. Doing so makes the product an even better value.

I am now on my second bottle, and my knees seem to be “slowly” improving! With that said —- I don’t know how long I will continue to use/purchase them. They are VERY EXPENSIVE! Unfortunately, new and name-brand products seem to have this in common.
