This has many of the things I’m looking for. It is packaged and tested in the USA, I like the coated tablets better than the capsules as it just seems more pure in this form and they are smallish and easy to swallow. Each tablet is 250mg making the dose 500mg. I don’t like misleading advertising and it is not 500mg but 250mg and a dose of 2 is 500mg. The other thing that I find odd and makes the value not so great is that are are only 100 and not 120 tablets in a jar. That means my ordering for this one product gets all out of wack because I need to order every 50 days not every two months. It may seem small, but the tablet costs the company a penny or two and to not include the extra 20 tablets is very questionable to me.

I had been taking other magnesium supplements and this magnesium oxide helped me relax after a long day at work. I take two capsules when I get home with a glass of water and they are easy to swallow.

These tablets of Magnesium Oxide are relatively easy to swallow. You need two tablets to get the 500 mg dose, so this bottle contains 50 doses. That wasn’t clear from the initial description.
Also, when I ordered this, I wasn’t aware of the effects of the different types of magnesium supplements. I have been taking magnesium glycinate in the evening to help with calming for sleep. Magnesium oxide may be more appropriate for helping with the digestive tract, but there are questions about its bioavailability. While this may be appropriate for some, I don’t need magnesium to help with digestion, so I’ll stick with magnesium glycinate.

I need to take a magnesium supplement so I thought I would try these. But as with any supplement, you don’t REALLY know what you are getting unless you have it tested. So I go by trust on these because they are manufactured in the USA and that helps with the trust issue. You need to take 2 a day to get the advertised 500 mg as a dose. So depending on your daily needs, keep in mind that it takes 2 per day. And I don’t know why, but I have found that true for any brands of Mag that I have purchased over the years. I keep hoping that one day they will come out with a magnesium supplement that isn’t so huge! So these seem fine and I have no issues with taking these.

I like these supplements for the amount of Magnesium Oxide I am getting. The pills are really easy to swallow which I like. My body needs MgO for just about every benefit that these are known for, so I am happy to have found these. I do recommend them and would certainly get more when these are all.
