I previously purchased the clear, Sonic Cinnabun version of this lipbalm and I liked it a lot but wanted one with some color. Finally decided to give Bleeding Heart a try but I’m not a fan of this one at all. The color in person is a lot darker and more brown looking than pink. It also goes on heavy, like a lipstick with a lot of pigment so you definitely notice the color even if you use just a little. I was expecting the color to be more sheer like other colored lip balms. As for the buzz, it is definitely intense but this one given a pins and needles feeling. It’s like the feeling when your leg falls asleep, except it’s in your lips. I definitely didn’t care for it and will go back to using the Sonic Cinnabun version which has more of a spicy food, hot sensation.

The tingle is enjoyable, and in my experience seems to have a subtle plumping effect. The shades of the tinted lip freak collection are not too loud, yet give enough color to brighten and enhance anyone’s complexion. I have olive tan skin, and my mother is fair/rosy, and these tinted balms still look lovely on both of us. I hope to see more shades come out soon (:

Love this product! Bleeding heart was the PERFECT shade for me. The color isn’t too bold but the difference on my lips when I’m not wearing anything is noticeable. The cooling effect lasts a long time and I got 2 balms for $10! It’s a steal ♥️
The only downside is the packaging. A little bit of the balm had melted on the sides so I got it all over my hand when I first opened it. Maybe a more secure and heat-resistant container would do the trick!

I’m a definite lip balm snob: I’ve lost count on how many I have purchased searching for the lip balm mecca. I started with this brand last year…with their “sin-o-mint
” I instantaneously became addicted. Then, much to my delight, I found the tinted kind. I have them all, but love the bleeding heart the most. It hangs off of my water bottle to stay within easy reach. If you love the tingle a peppermint lip balm gives…this will blow you away.
