It broke & is not eligible for return. I believe the science behind red light therapy and do think it helped but this specific device is an expensive waste of money.
EDIT:
Added 2 stars bc the company reached out to fix the problem.

I’ve been waiting patiently for a canker sore to appear since this arrived and it just didn’t happen. I felt like one was coming on when I ordered this and thought how perfect!
Since I can’t test it out on that, I did test it out on a small pimple I had.
First, it’s very focused therapy. The device will only direct the red light to the small area you point it at. I like this a lot.
The timer shuts off after 1 minute so that’s how long I used it for, daily.
In four days time my pimple was gone. What was different than normal, without using a device like this, is that before it disappeared it became way worse almost overnight. Surpsingly so. That’s not the way it usually works for me when I do get a pimple. It usually takes a week or so and it may get a little larger but then gradually disappears.
This took it from barely starting to develop to full on eruption to pretty much gone in the course of four days.
I used to use a red light facial mask and I noticed with that, on a fully clear complexion, upon starting the red light therapy, that my face broke out. I was thinking it was doing the opposite of helping. At that time, I researched, and read that red light therapy can bring to the surface bacteria and other gunk and kind of purge your skin and to keep up with it. So I did. And eventually my skin was clear again, but also brighter looking.
I imagine that’s kind of what this little light did on my pimple. A purge. Then it was gone.
I have no idea if this is true, what happened in both instances, but reading online it mimicked what others have said and did exactly what they said would happen if I continued through it.
As far as this little red light device goes, it appears it may have worked on my pimple and it’s is easy to do and comfortable to handle when using.

The media could not be loaded.
Red light therapy device for cold sores has two different modes with two different wavelengths 660nm (redlight) and 850nm (near Infrared).
The device comes with travel size case, USB c type cable without charger, and the product manual.
Will update after at least several uses.

I had hopes. I’ve used it on several mouth sores I’ve developed in the past months. I thought that it might be working because I had a few canker sores that didn’t get horrible, but it seemed to not be working for all of them. It does not get rid of mouth sores and it also doesn’t prevent them from growing. I’m out $60 because it’s past the return window and it doesn’t help.

I wasn’t sure if this was going to work. I got it and started using it right away. It’s easy to use, and it definitely shortened the duration of my cold sore. Better than Abreva!!

As me having frequent canker sores and tried everything on the market I gave this a try on few of them on different occasions and without a doubt I can say that this is a waste of money that I can’t return.
