Another great supplement by Smoky Mountain Naturals. I am a 52 y/o male and I use “DHEA” in combination with their “DIM+BioPerine” (and a couple of other products) to bring my hormone levels back to normal levels. I experienced some dramatically abnormal imbalances in my estrogen and testosterone levels and doctors wanted to put me on hormone replacement therapy. Since that would have meant a lifetime of being on these drugs and resulted in the cessation of natural testosterone production, I opted to try natural remedies first. The result have been great. I bought Pregnenolone and DHEA for myself. I am premenopausal and having issues with fatigue, hot flashes and other female issues.
It works great as advertised for that. Heres the GREAT thing I learned about pregnenolone: Our 14 year old DACHSHUND had given up eating, could no longer walk and decided she it was time to die. The vet could do nothing but offer euthanasia, No cure for age he says. I decided to put HER on the pregnenolone and DHEA with AMAZING results. She is back to eating, She can walk and go up and down the back door steps. She is barking again and wagging her tail. Now I dont think she will live forever but maybe this stuff gave us 6 moths to a year more for her. (I am giving her 1/6 of each tablet) Half the tablet and then third the half. I am not a vet. But this has made a massive improvement in a 8lb dachshund that had given up to die.

I am 50 and in menopause. I have hypothyroidism. My Dr. told me that b/c I started menopause early that my body is metabolically older than I am. I was feeling so miserable. In the past I bought this product and it was a tablet which you could break in two.
Why is it important to be able to break it? The dosage for woman I heard is between 15-25mg. Now Smoky Mountain made Dhea in capsule and makes it 50mg. Nope Nope Nope. More doesn’t mean good. The capsule are so difficult to measure it down.
The product is good but because they change from tablet to capsule, I will not buy this particular product any longer.
I did contact them through email, they did respond and when I gave them the dosage numbers it went quiet. So sorry because I like there product but if they continue to produce capsule I will buy another brand which produce tablet that I can measure my dosage.

I am only in day two. Perimenapasal at early age of 38 I’m down to memstrating half a day. I’ve been suffering from extreme fatigue “extreme!” Loss of muscle, depression/ irritation and acne not to mention sleep issues. The fatigue is the biggest for me. I wake at 8 and can’t get going until 10-11 exhausted by 2-3 and get back into bed by 5-6 to rest… I have felt like terrible and it’s heavily effected my lifestyle. I used to be very active, fit and positive.

As a woman going through menopause I was looking for some sort of assistance or cure for my symptoms. I tried a number of pills and creams then I found out that low DHEA is a contributing factor in menopause symptoms, so I thought I would give it a try. I am using this with Smokey Mountains other product, Estro-Life, and it has helped a lot. Sleeping, mood swings, irritability, and even extremely painful sex has all diminished greatly. I am only 5’4″ and 100 lbs so the 50mg tablets are right for me, but there are other pills ranging from 25 – 100mg. I have only being taking this for two weeks so I am hoping that as time goes on it will take me back to the old me before menopause. Now, if only there was a cure for my husbands male-menopause. 🙂
