    Does not smell floral like Acacia decurrens var dealbata. Very earthy and kind of musky compared to what I thought I would get with a mimosa.
    Very cheap floral wax though and they give you a lot for the price. Still not so wild about using this scent alone as it isn’t a very floral scent like other well known mimosas.

    I wanted to use this as a moisturizing/sealant type of product and it has made me change up my skin and hair care routine. This is one of those products you try and then realize you need it in your life LOL.

    At first, I was disappointed that there were no instructions or informational materials with the wax. Also, I was thrown to see that this is not smooth wax but rocky pieces of a crystal-like substance. I had to search for info on how to use it with other products. (It can be carefully and gently melted down.) I mixed this with almond and apricot oils and have stored it in a little container. When I wanted it to be a little less thick, I melted in a little bit more oil & the more oil, the softer the result.

    PROS:

    –The smell is slightly more herbal than floral but is weirdly pleasant (and is not strong at all). The best way I can describe it is as burnt flor-herbal sweetly warm scent. It smells strongest when you warm it in your hands or skin.
    — The wax & oil blend that I made is very good as a balm for my lips, scalp, and any dry spots on my skin
    — This is not heavy when applied to the skin. I can tell it’s there because of the softness but it’s not noticeable to the eye.
    — It leaves my skin feeling transformed & dewy-soft.
    — I don’t need to use much for my face – just rubbing my fingers across the wax, then over my face is enough.

    There are zero negatives for what I am using it as. When I made the first batch to use on my skin, I could sometimes feel tiny crystalline pieces of the wax so I added more oil to the blend. Any crystals will melt with my body heat. I like that when I use this on my face, there isn’t a lot of shine and yet it seals in other moisturizers. (I use my sunscreen on top of it though.)

    Because this makes my skin feel so good – face, neck, feet – I subscribed the day after I first used it and I’ve ordered the Tuberose to try out.
