I like that the liver cleanse is non-gmo. The pills are really easy to swallow. The directions suggest taking one pill a day to start to see how you react to it and if everything is going smoothly to up it to two pills. Thus far everything is going smoothly while taking it.

There are plenty of “good” ingredients contained in this Liver Cleanse & Detox supplement. Won’t know for a little while if it lives up to the hype, but nothing contained in the formula that looks suspicious.
All supplements (vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.) are hard to objectively review. If they are the only thing you take, you might be missing something vital to your health; if taken in combination, it’s hard to say what it is that is giving you a “boost.” You are probably OK if you have no adverse effects, and don’t feel worse for taking them.
These capsules are easy to take an swallow. There is no aftertaste and no gastrointestinal after effects. I generally take a number of supplements, so while I’m not falling asleep nor am I “hyper” I feel pretty good during the day after taking these. The bottle says all the right things — “Non GMO, Vegan, Gluten Free, No Additives, No Fillers” — that is, all the right “buzz” words. The one thing that is a little misleading is that the label says “Based in USA.” That could mean a lot of things, but I take it to mean that the product is actually manufactured and packaged somewhere outside the USA. Not necessarily a bad thing, but would be good to know where it is made, and what the manufacturing standards are in that location. Just be upfront about it.
The product is a little pricey, but if it does the job, just might be worth it. You decide.

I am a woman in my 60s and since gin & tonics go down so smoothly in the summer months, I felt it was time to give my liver a little love.

Pros:
1. Good approach – the label instructs you to start with 1 capsule and see how you tolerate the blend before increasing to the full 2-capsule dose.
2. Great service – I reached out to them with a somewhat graphic description of my symptoms and they responded quickly and professionally!
3. This contains the top 3: milk thistle (silymarin) known to enhance the liver’s blood circulation and cell regeneration, increase DNA synthesis, promote healthy bile flow, and act as a potent antioxidant protecting cells from free radical damage and lipid peroxidation caused by external chemical toxins. Artichoke leaves increase the formation of bile, and improve its quality and flow from the liver and through the bile ducts.
Curcumin (active turmeric) has a strong antioxidant activity and may help to a normal inflammatory response in the liver.
I do not have time to report on the plethora of other ingredients (nor do you want to read that!) but they seemed reasonable to me in my work as a medical writer for the functional medical industry.
Cons:
I wanted to do the recommended 21-day protocol, but I developed digestive issues that I thought might be coming from this cleanse, so I only did 7 days. Please understand that everyBODY is unique and we will all respond differently to what we ingest. I have never tried a detox and my reaction could have been expected and normal – maybe even necessary. I will challenge my body again with the protocol and update my review.
